We were very happy with our stay. We had a great price on NYE, easy self check in and check out and our room was fantastic and the hotel itself is a great location to the waterfront and the downtown… highly recommended!

Our stay was beyond perfect. We had not stayed a night in Halifax before this, though have family in and around Halifax. The view, the quality of the room, the service from the staff, THE VIEW. Absolutely will be staying here again.

Had an overall good experience with this hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable, had a wonderful time in the pool and hot tub. Parking, we had to walk from the front of the hotel down the road a couple feet which wasn’t to bad but could have a better set up for parking, had to walk my suitcase down Hollis street to bring the stuff back into the front door of the hotel

The Hilton on Hollis was a great place to stay for our outing. We had a couple of events to attend in downtown Halifax. Staying here allowed us to park our vehicle in the Hilton lot then walk to all our other destinations. The Hilton offers a lot of great views over the Halifax Harbour, which is always beautiful, but especially now during the holiday season. They offer a great rate for nice, clean rooms. The only down side for us was that what ever they use to clean the rooms live a very strong fragrance/scent, anyone with sensitivities/allergies be advised.

The staff was less than pleasant when asking for simple things like a Wi-Fi password and the breakfast and bar staff was actually worse. I called downstairs to get the password for a device that does not automatically pop up with the website to log in and was basically told we don’t have one oh well, then after being called angry on the phone for repeating the same question several times I had to go downstairs only to get a password that didn’t work. I was placing a to go order and told I had to wait 10 minutes because the server was busy but the bar attendant is literally standing in front of me just watching us talk. When I went to the front desk to speak to the staff about it both the breakfast attendant and bar attendant both came over to call me a liar and yell at the at the desk in front of the staff and customers. Needless to say I probably won’t ever stay here again. In my experience working as a front desk manager for the person that owns this hotel I have never ever treated guest like this or turned a guest away without helping. Reported it to the GM and they offered 7000 points for a stay I payed $200 for. Unacceptable! And on my birthday!
