This is a very relaxing, quiet place to stay. Rooms and lobby are extremely clean. All the people we met were very friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend staying here and especially on the lakeview side if you can get it.

This was a very nice hotel with a great view of the river and downtown Houghton. The room was clean and a good size. The bed and pillows were comfortable also. Wish we had a balcony with chairs or an outdoor patio to enjoy the view more!

Good location. Not handicap friendly as there is no elevator for the second floor rooms. You must reserve in advance for the handicap rooms on the first floor. Overall the place is dated and needs substantial upgrading.

I have to say it's been well over 25 years since I've been here. And today's stay was totally spur of the moment. Nina was amazing. As was her associate. They were super accommodating and friendly. Nina even helped me with using the Business center so I can print off my boarding passes. She definitely made this experience more enjoyable. My boys and I were able to finally have a night to relax before we head out to our much needed vacation. This is by far my favorite hotel because of its location. Nothing beats taking a walk on the boardwalk at night and seeing the bridge and the lights. There's something magical about it. I highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our 1 day stay in this Hotel before making our way back to south Michigan. Due to Covid restrictions, the Pool and Hot tub were out, which we didn't know about till after arrival, but reception offered us a room upgrade to in room jacuzzi, which my kids loved, it really made their stay worthwhile. The room was lovely, but in need for some minor remodeling and fresh colors, but beds were comfy and relaxing. Our room had a beautiful view of the bridge with its lovely bright night lights. Breakfast was great compared to others, they had better hot options then others, but again due to covid, its grab and go and fully sanitary process which was considerate and great.
