A secret hideaway close to town!
We absolutely loved our stay at Countryside Connections Spa Cottage. The gardens are amazing with lots of Australian wildlife at your back door. The cottage was well equipped with everything you could need, plus a Nespresso coffee machine which adds a little luxury! At night the sound of the frogs and crickets makes you feel like you’re miles from anywhere and on a clear night the stars are amazing! Easy walking distance to Hepburn and just over an hour stroll to Daylesford or a short drive. We will definitely be returning!
Best morning view
I stayed at this little off the main road place with my partner for a quiet weekend away. I was not disappointed. This 1 bedroom studio apartment positioned overlooking kangaroo filled olive grove is a perfect place to stay when visiting the daylesford area. Being well off the main road, the only noise you hear is the noise you make yourself and the wildlife. Waking up, opening the blindes to see the mist slowly rising and the native animals going about their business is definatly one way to relax. The studio its self is well equipped, with all the equipment you could need in a self-contained appartment. The bed in amazingly comfy. The location is very close to all the fun things to do in hepburn springs and only a short drive to daylesford. Wineries and other attractions are very close also. Should you be wanting a relaxing getaway, keep this place in mind.
Kangaroo lovers paradise
Our stay at countryside connections studio was absolutely fantastic. The studio is well equipped. Lots of extras included to make stay more comfortable such as basic condiments. A welcome light was on for our arrival. The studio was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Each morning e had a beautiful view that was filled with Kangaroos and a kookaburra that sat right at the door. We were even lucky enough to have some mums and Joeys graze right in front of the back door. Bedroom is separate to lounge which is nice. Bed was comfy and electric blanket is provided so great for any season. I highly recommend this spot for couples looking for a great, romantic weekend away. We loved it
Studio more than a studio
Contryside Connections Retreat studio is very spacious with a separate bedroom and walk-in robe. No hosts on site but extra care taken to prepare for your arrival and be available to assist if needed. The day I was to arrive was a very warm day and the hosts had the airconditioning going so the studio was cool and comfortable when I got there. While the kitchenette is very basic, it is also very adequate. Little extras appreciated, such as salt and pepper grinders and olive oil. Clean and comfortable and away from the crowds - wonderful bush setting. In the morning, a walk outside provides the fresh eucalypt smell of the Aussie bush. Studio attached to cottage. I was fortunate as the cottage was not occupied. But even if it was, the layout of the two facilities provides for privacy for both tenants. Studio has its own driveway entrance and private carport.
