Mein SchlossHotel

We stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights in September whilst attending a family wedding. The location of the hotel was central for the town and in easy walking distance of the Schloss, where the wedding was taking place. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a balcony which was very pleasant in the sunshine. The room layout was unusual with the bed in the centre of the room and the bathroom divided from the bedroom by a glass wall - the glass was painted with a picture of trees which gave some privacy! The buffet breakfast was very good and great value. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere. We didn't use the restaurant in the evening as we were at family homes but it looked very nice. Would certainly stay here again.

We recently spent 3 nights at Mein SchlossHotel to visit nearby relatives. Having arrived quite early in the morning from Australia, the room was naturally not ready, however, staff went out of their way to quickly make up a room and also offered tea / coffee and anything else we required whilst we waited. The room itself (including bathroom) was neatly furnished and whilst not overly large, was adequate and both extremely clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, Wi-Fi worked efficiently, with the room having air-conditioning / heating, mini bar and a safe. On-site parking was readily available and an elevator / lift also serviced all floor levels, with possibly the only missing feature being there were no in room tea or coffee making facilities. An excellent and wide ranging buffet continental breakfast for 6 euros per person (12 euros if a hot breakfast is ordered) was provided which included a variety of cold meats, smoked salmon, numerous cheeses, pastries / breads, cereals, fruit, juices, tea / coffee etc. An additional nice touch was the hotel providing complimentary champagne on Mother’s Day for guests. The location of the hotel is first class being in the town itself, so all retail facilities are close by, in particular a variety of restaurants, bars and a lovely bakery within 200 metres. The town is well serviced by buses, whilst the train station is only a 10-minute walk. Finally, all staff were extremely courteous and helpful during our stay and will look forward to returning in 12 months’ time when we next visit our relatives.

This fairly new hotel was designed a bit different, floor to ceiling windows with the bed in teh middle of the room - it worked well. Space was limited but well thought out. We enjoyed this somewhat different experience.

This hotel has a fair Price and the service is ok too. Its nothing fancy but the beds are good and the internet works well. The restaurant has a fair amount of dishes and drinks but there are also restaurants close to the hotel. Parking is free.

I can't understand, that I book a room, as the rooms are available, but when I arrive to hotel they say they are full. "We informed you by mail", which I checked and saw it was fully in German, I mean come on! For international guests you write English, not German! I've stayed in this hotel many times before, but hopefully never again. Otherwise I have nothing bad to say of this hotel, nothing special there but good enough for business stay purposes. WiFi has improved since my last review 3 years ago.
