I booked a room with a double bed and the size of the room is decent. The Shinkansen station connects directly to the hotel entrance on 2nd floor. The subway station is one level below the Shinkansen Station. The location of the hotel is excellent. The boarding point for Hiroshima Sightseeing Bus (Mapple Bus), is just a stone throw away from the hotel. The bus can bring you to all the major sightseeing places in the city.

Located adjoining Hiroshima Station, it has a grand lobby, fitness center and six restaurants. Room was small, clean, with trouser press (something I never saw in a hotel before). Has bath, shower. Bed was comfortable with neck pillow. They will store your bags while you sightsee. Sightseeing bus starts at the station. We found the staff welcoming.

Location can’t be beat!

We selected this hotel based solely on location because dragging baggage around town can be trouble. This hotel is connected to the train station but you would never know it, it’s so quiet! The hotel itself is nice and clean. The rooms are outdated but clean. Typical hard Japanese bed. But the location just can’t be beat. Literally go down the elevator and the Shinkansen is right there, around the corner are the JR lines and through the terminal is the street car.

Located directly next to Horoshima station,Hotel Granvia Hiroshima is very convenient for business trip and sightseeing.Rooms are clean and designed by very nice &neat Maruni furnitures which made from wood.Worthy for all travalers.

Unremarkable City Centre Hotel close top Main Station

A mere 3/4 minutes walk from the Main Station into which we came by Bullet Train ex-Tokyo (Shinjuku). Sadly our luggage came by vehicle and due to the flooding caused by Hagibis arrived a day late. Reception was dominated (&I mean dominated) by a Halloween Display, and so Americana-esque, which bearing in mind where we were seemed plain wierd. Everything about the Hotel was fine - Rooms, Breakfast, Bar (such as it was) - but nothing remarkable or Special, except the Gym, which was off-limits to Guests and run as a Private Health Club. Hotel's location was very good. Very Central. Good Public Transport links all over town and the area. Ir was particularly good for Train Spotters due to being able to watch Bullet Trains and the like come in/out of the Station. We particularly like the sub-terrainean walkways beneath the Streets where a veritable rabbit warren of tunnels existed with a plethora of Shops & Restaurants. Good Map & sense of Direction proved crucial.
