Normal tirando a malo
Edificio muy viejo la limpieza no es buena y el baño pequeño. El bufett buena comida pero poca variedad.No me a gustado que se junten para el almuerzo y la cena los dos hoteles ya que hay mucha gente y se pasa mucho calor.La calidad precio es basta te buena
A nice stay
This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, due to its location. Located right off I-40 on the eastern side of Holbrook, it's convenient to the exit. Since we last stayed here, a restaurant has moved in right next door, with good food and prices. Otherwise, you have to walk a half mile, or drive, to a nearby restaurant. If you are looking to swim, realize that this is an outdoor pool at higher elevation, so it isn't open until summer. The door to your room leads outside, no inside hallways at this Quality Inn. Our room, on the first floor, was clean and quiet.
Awful experience
We checked into room 216 and it was filthy. Crumbs on all surfaces and the bar of soap at the sink was opened (the packaging pushed to the side) and the soap was more than halfway used up and there was a pile of hand towels crumpled up on the sink as if someone had just been there. So we got switched to room 211. 211 was even worse. The walls and doors were filthy and the room had an awful stench. The side of the bathtub nearest to the toilet had what looked like poop splatter all over it and there were drops of brown liquid on the bathroom floor. Not only is this disgusting, it's a health hazard and I'll be reporting to the health dept as well. We left the property and we're told that the manager Vic would handle our refund in the morning and that there would be no problems. The next day I called the property and vic was unavailable so I told the girl at the desk what I was calling for and she said Vic would take care of it. By the next day there was still no reversal so I called and Vic answered the phone. He was rude and incompetent from the beginning. I was spelling out my last name for him using "b like boy" etc to make sure the spelling was correct. He told me not to do tht. Then he proceeded to get every letter of my name wrong multiple times. By the end he said he would have to make sure no one has stayed in the room since we left to determine if we get a refund which is total BS so we went through corporate instead they called Vic and then assured us our refund has been started. But instead, Vic charged us two additional times. So now instead of one night charge we had three nights charged in a disgusting establishment where we did t even stay a single night. This was obviously not an accident based on his arrogant attitude from the start and I will also be contacting the BBB regarding VIC Specifically.
Clean, Comfortable, Inexpensive
We stayed here three nights while exploring the Holbrook area. This is an older, motel-style property (no inner hallways), but the rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean. Staff was very helpful, the rate was good ($65 a night AAA rate). Internet service worked fine, good selection of cable channels, and there is plenty of parking - convenient to the Interstate and an easy drive to local attractions (Petrified Wood National Park and the downtown historical museum). Because of Covid, they are having a limited breakfast (no hot items), the pool is closed, and rooms are not serviced during your stay. Staff were able to get us essential toiletries to replenish what we used each day. There is no elevator, so choose a first floor room if you have issues with stairs. I would stay here again.
Stayed here one night.
Room was clean, paid a little more than what was listed on Tripadvisor. We walked in after checking several of the other area motels that did not seem quite as nice. The lodging in Holbrook as a whole leaves something to be desired. We have stayed in much nicer places and much nicer Quality Inns for much less cost per night. Room was away from the interstate and the railroad so it was quiet. The bed was ok, asked for a King room and received a room with 2 queens. Motel was not full but no kings available?
