Terrible hotel!
Terrible hotel. Uncomfortable bed. Unresponsive staff. Couldn't adjust water temperature in the shower. Some drunk guy passed out on the floor in the hallway outside my room. Asked for a refund and the manager refused to call me back. This hotel is disgusting and the management is irresponsible and useless. DON'T STAY HERE!!!
Don't stay here at all.
The hotel staff is very rude. They have people smoking weed at the hotel. The trash is all over the property. I didn't have no tv the entire stay. There are smoke blunts in the grass and poo from dogs in the grass they never clean up. The wifi doesn't work. I have contacted the management but there never no manger on duty. I have escalated this to corporate. This message is for Eric and Zohra the owners/managers of this place. I will like to be discounted for not having a tv and horrible customer service. I will be sending this to the code enforcement if the actions are not taken.
Okay for a couple days
Good location for airport and food varieties close by or a short Uber ride. Shuttle did not show up at airport after being called. Another Red Roof Inn shuttle driver was very friendly and gave us a ride. Shuttle to airport right on schedule. Employees are all friendly and willing to help out. Room had one night table lamp that was useless as the cord was too short to plug in. Room darkening shade on window is dry rotted and falling apart. Good shower. We left our luggage in the office for safe keeping as we had a later flight. I had a phone charger in the front pocket which came up missing. I called to make sure it was not found in office or in room. Not found so I have to think...well, you guess.
Dirty rundown place. None of the staff appeared to want to be there
It's not easy to find much to like about the Red Roof Inn Houston IAH Airport JFK BLVD. It's a shabby, dirty, rundown sort of a place that seems to have set its standards very low and still hasn't achieved them. From the howling dogs through the night to banging doors, shouting, cockroaches and dirty, stained bedding, ripped curtains, lights and sockets not working the Houston IAH Airport JFK BLVD branch of the Red Roof Inn has certainly created an impression with us. We are becoming regular travellers to Houston and it's safe to say that we won't be troubling them with our business again. Stepping out of the elevator there are two nasty looking chairs all alone that look as though they are waiting to be collected to be burned. This sets the scene for the rest of the hotel We had another 18 nights ahead of us on our November 2019 tour and we definitely made sure that we avoided the Red Roof brand based on our experience at the Red Roof Inn Houston IAH Airport JFK BLVD
