Driving across country and wanted pampered
This boutique hotel is exquisite! It is clean, beautifully appointed with many nice touches . . . champagne upon arrival, dinner and drinks in the lobby restaurant, snacks in the room, and breakfast on the mezzanine level made for a very enjoyable and restful stay!
Great wedding block hotel
My husband and I had our wedding in Houston and needed rooms for our out of town guests. Emre and the team at the hotel made sure our guests were taken care of and felt comfortable with the COVID restrictions. Breakfast was fantastic and there was complimentary champagne as well (I believe 4-5pm or so every weekday). I also got a flat in the front of the hotel a hour before our rehearsal dinner and the valet staff were so kind to watch it until roadside assistance came to fix it and then moved it afterwards. If you’re looking for great service, this is the place and the rooms were great as well! We stayed in the two bedroom suite and there was plenty of space.
Excellent hotel with excellent service
We stayed at the Lancaster for a one week federal trial. The Artist Suite with the six person dining table was essential for trial preparation and client meetings during the trial. General Manager Tom Harwell impressed us with his leadership and his outstanding team. We were grateful when he arranged lunch to be in our room so that we could continue to work during the short lunch breaks and stay focused. Emre Ozrut made the arrangements for our town car trips to and from the airport. Daniel assisted us with making sure that we had the Suite 908 with the six person dining table. Mr. Casanova was gracious and welcomed us in several different languages. The hotel was spotless. The food was excellent. The service was extraordinary. Would absolutely recommend the Lancaster Hotel.
One word - Russell
The hotel was beautiful, the overall service was excellent, the complimentary breakfast was superb. However, when you pay for a first class hotel you are not paying for the furnishings, food, or decor, you are paying for the experience. Russell at the front desk absolutely made our stay. He made us feel welcome, special, and as if we were old friends.He gave us history on the hotel and detailed information on the city of Houston. He provided us with recommendations on food and entertainment. Some how he even managed to do a photo shoot of us which ultimately resulted in my wife getting offers from various companies to promote their clothes and jewelry on Instagram (I kid you not!). If management happens upon this review, do everything in your power to keep this man in your employment. In fact, put him over all of guest services.
Excellent Hotel with Excellent Service
Excellent hotel with excellent service! Our entire hotel stay was extremely pleasant and very comfortable. The general manager, Tom, and his entire staff were all SUPERB....friendly, polite, and so accommodating. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone visiting the Houston area.
