A new kind of Marriott stay!

This hotel offers a stay unlike any other hotel. For long term stays the room is more like your own home. The food is excellent, access to area hospitals is amazing, and the facility itself is a place you never want to leave from.

We were there to attend a banquet and valet parking was a mess. Getting in wa sok but coming out it wa sa mess. Took 0ver 45 minutes to get the car. With people hanging out in the curd waiting for their cars. Food was just average. Overall Westin name did not reflect the service

I got mugged in this hotel on the 14th floor! Zero security. When I talked to hotel staff they said they have chased the mugger out of there before. I called corporate and they didn’t want to deal with it, sent me back to GM. I had the GM Barry responding telling me that he was going to give me 10% off. Um, I was mugged in his hotel by someone they knew did this before. Housekeeping and valet was very nice but the purpose of staying there was safety. DON’T STAY HERE! I stay at a different hotel since then. I should have called the police. I write this now as I consider going back to the area.
Stains on bedding

We went up for a 2nd opinion at MD Anderson for my granddaughter's cancer. Two rooms, my daughter and her family, me and my husband. My daughter laid down on her bed and noticed stains on the bedding. Disgusting. Three calls later and next day, it was righted. I thought I should look at my bedding...OMG. so disappointing. 4 star hotel! Room manager comped a night both rooms but still!

This was not a fun trip. My granddaughter was at MD Anderson checking for cancer recurrence. We booked two rooms, one for my daughter's family, one for my husband and me. My daughter went to bed and immediately noticed stains on the bedding. She called to have the bedding changed. The response was less than what it should have been for a 4 star hotel. I thought that maybe I should take a close look at my bedding..My Lord! I have pictures of blood stains on the comforter (what they put between the sheets). I called this morning to speak to a manager...no return call. I called again this afternoon...on hold for 10 minutes, hung up. Shame on you.
