There is a reason it's so cheap!
Reviewed 11 june, 2021
We stayed here one night as we had to catch an early flight out of HSV. It's basically an old hotel with a lot of cheap updates. The beds are comfortable. The carpet was disgusting it was so dirty. It had cigarette burns in it and I'm certain I smelled smoke residue when we entered the room. There were drinking glass rings on the night stand and brown fingerprints on the lightswitch. So much for their extra cleaning due to Covid! A lot of young construction workers and men wandering around the parking lot. If I had been alone, I would have been very uncomfortable. I don't recommend this hotel at all.
$200 CASH DEPOSIT???
Reviewed 4 march, 2021
Was supervised at check in with a “fine print” $200 cash deposit required for local residents EVEN THOUGH you have a credit card for booking. Had to cancel and rebook because that’s ridiculous. If your clientele make this necessary this is a probably crap hotel anyway with shady customers. Steer clear! Screen shot of alert I found buried in the booking info below.
I had a good stay

The hotel is near a lot of things. The receptionist was pleasant at check in and every time I came in and out asked how things were in the hotel and my trip. The room was clean, I slept great, and the price was reasonable.
Nice clean hotel

It's a nice hotel room. It's very affordable. It's not really pricey and so it's not meant to feel upscale in the room. But that said, the room was nice and clean and comfortable. The location is really good with plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. There is lots of parking around it. There is a large lot behind it for larger vehicles or vehicles towing campers/trailers.
Basically a dump

Made online reservations based on location and other online reviews. Hotel could use a major power washing and scrub down. This hotel looks nothing like the online photos. People working there are nice enough, but there were cigarette butts everywhere, both the lobby and our room smelled like cigarettes, and the place just is not very clean. We reserved pool time for 8 am but nobody bothered to unlock the gates. Not to mention there were cigarette butts, wet clothes, and used chewing gum all around the pool. I cannot recommend this hotel.
