Ok for the price
Nothing great, but nothing stood out as poor. The bed was a bit firm and not comfortable. The hotel seemed aged, with some upgrades having been done. Its location is decent, right in downtown Huntsville. As the title reads, it's OK if your on a budget. You won't be blown away with luxury.
Budget Travel
We chose this hotel because of the location and affordability. With the exception of noisy neighbors which the hotel managed to quiet down we enjoyed the stay and got to visit elderly relatives in the area.
Good little hotel
Ok I saw all the reviews, newest to oldest. I have been staying there for two weeks now a week at a time. The reviews I disagree with, the bad ones. I have yet you see any bugs or for that matter street walkers. Now I do not doubt that the streetwalks are around I just haven’t seen them . The staff has been friendly and accommodating. Miss Renee has been most helpful. I look forward to my next stay which will be this coming Sunday .
Don't bother
You get what you pay for. It was cheap but I was unable to book a good hotel anywhere near a meeting site in Huntsville. Ceiling looked like this picture. No amenities. No iron. No ironing board. No shampoo. Terrible parking lot. Designed for one way flow of traffic but set up for two. Called my cell phone on the first day of the reservation to ask when I was going to check in. "Breakfast" was nothing more than something like a honey bun and coffee. The place smelled. The attendant tried to force his way into the room the first morning. I had the for locked and latched. He kept trying to get in to change the towels. It took a while to convince him to leave and that I didn't need the towels changed out. Even though the parking lots were at best a third filled, yet the signs were out saying sorry we're full. Beds be were bad and room was musty and dirty. Don't bother.
Just one night
We were concerned about the "neighborhood" with the reviews. This place is extremely safe! Carpet was clean & i wore socks with no issues. Room 122, non smoking and king bed, 70 including taxes. I would stay here again, heck at this price-- live there. It's not fancy, but with the price... you shouldn't expect it to be. Mostly contractors staying in the rooms. The breakfast was honey buns and yummy coffee. The staff was terrific too. Im very impressed & highly recommend for anyone.
