The Oberoi, Sahl Hasheesh

Incredible week at the Oberoi, after a busy week seeing the sites around Egypt. It is truly an oasis, and the staff is overwhelmingly friendly from the time you arrive until departure. We actually ended up extending our stay as we didn’t want to leave, and they were more than accommodating. We researched heavily, and it exceeded our expectations. The suites were spacious, clean and very well appointed. The food was delicious, with breakfast as a highlight, but they made it feel personalized at every meal. The snorkeling and diving was absolutely incredible, and one of the healthiest reefs I’ve ever seen, far exceeding the Great Barrier Reef, Maldives, Thailand, Caribbean, etc. to have access to that right off the Jetty is remarkable. I told the guys at the dive shop everyday how lucky they were. They were great, super friendly and always there to help and talking me into going diving again. We were there with our two daughters (7 and 9) and they had a blast.. We can’t wait to return.

A hell of a great experience that exceeded all the expectations above and beyond that started prior to the visit until we left. The hospitality of all staff members and safety measures are unmatched. Every single penny is worth it on all fronts. Royal suite is a must try yet i assume any regular suite will also give u the exceptional treatment. Room breakfast is very rich and comes on time, all you have to do is to write down ur wish list of food to have and set ur preferred times to have it, set the clock and u won't be any less than impressed. The pool and rooms gets cleaned regularly, staff call you to check if u need anything, knowing u are honeymooners makes them pamper you in every single possible way with flowers and candle lights even in the restaurants. Seriously, if u are considering having ur honeymoon in Egypt, Oberoi sahl hasheesh is the perfect destination for it.

We booked the Oberoi at the last minute. How fortuitous. The experience ended up being one of the finest resort experiences we have ever had: the room was well appointed and CLEAN; every hotel associate was attentive, professional, and caring; the food was delicious. While it is winter and a bit breezy, each day was clear and sunny and the snorkeling was incredible. Due to COVID, occupancy was way down. Everyone was very attentive to COVID protocols—they were managed extremely well—and we felt very safe. It was perfect—a remarkable experience.

Super Service from all Hotel employees Great amenities enjoyable for a newly wed couple and with children high attention to details from staff and management is on ground consistently making sure that visitors are having a great service. had such a great time that I went with my family several times, and each time we find the same superior level of quality. Very nice breakfast the rooms with private pool are amazing for family use. many services are offered for free like movie night collection at the room.

We stayed with our 4-year old daughter for a weekend getaway in November and had the pleasure to enjoy one of those biiiiig suites with own pool, that actually gets heated and was really warm. The hotel is very well maintained and any interior or fabrics feels like high quality. The staff is very well trained and absolutely acting 5* like- being very professional and friendly. The Covid19 measures were taken very serious, but were not disturbing in any way. We had lunch by the pool, which was very nice and dinner at the main restaurant, which offers a la carte. The inner courtyard has no roof and sitting outside was therefore possible whilst having a secure feeling at the same time. Breakfast was also excellent, everything gets served at the table and you can order eggs or any additional items you like. This hotel is the perfect hideaway if you are looking for tranquility and relaxation. Beautiful reef also off shore, which unfortunately we did not try. They also offer massages and other treatments, which looked very professional. The Oberoi can absolutely be recommended and is one of the very few places at the Red Sea offering real luxury. It was our 2nd stay there and we will probably go back again:-) Thank you very much again for having us- it was great!
