Most rude receptionist and very smelly room

I had invited my family for 2 nights at the hotel as I wanted to celebrate my birthday. Because I wanted it to be a great stay for the entire family I booked a Four Star hotel. I could have wanted to save some money and booked a cheaper hotel in Husum but I did not. However when we got our rooms our room was smelly very small and not a 4 Star room at all. Therefore we made a complaint and the receptionist was the most rude person I have ever come across. She told us we got what we paid for 🤷‍♀️ it have paid for a 4 Star hotel but I got a room that was nothing near a 2 Star hotel!!! She had no intention of seeking a solution but offered us the possibility to get another room for an extra 100 euro for 2 nights. I must say that I am extremely disappointed - I chose a better hotel in order to celebrate my birthday and It was all ruined due to an extremely arrogant and unpleasant receptionist who I hope is an employee and not the owner. And should it be an employee if would sack her immediately should she be my employee.

Nice Hotel, Easy Location

Good, clean hotel in a good location to town and local restaurants. Easy to walk. Rooms are warm and comfortable. Large selection at breakfast with friendly staff. Supermarket close by too. Parking at an extra cost but I’m sure you could park somewhere else.

I was pleased with the polite staff in the restaurant which was able to serve even special wishes. The hotel was also very clean and the room of had enough space. Not so nice was the hidden price of a hotel car parking space. I couldn`t find it on my booking order or someelsebefore I arrived. The situation of the hotel in the town is very convinient for discovering the museums and city centre.

Nice quiet place to rest after busy day. Good breakfast. Very close to city center. Only one minus very poor internet / slow on computer also on mobile. But still I will recommend this place. And I will back here in the future:)

Found this at the last minute and it turned out to be a gem. Fast checkin, and the nice young lady spoke very good English. Had a lot of questions, she answered them all. Clean and comfortable room with a top notch breakfast.
