No longer a resort ….

Reviewed 5 september, 2022

Have had it with this place! Dirty, loud, outdated, and dont care about customers. We have been going there since before kids in 2008 maybe missing only a few years. We keep Going back despite issues bc our three kids like the pools. Almost every year a different issue, rooms dirty, ants on the floor, doors not closing, pool overcrowded and filthy you name it. When we tell them in the past they would give us a food voucher or something and expect that is enough to make up for this. A few years ago spoke to the main manager who said well if you want to try us again let me know. Well that was 2020 and we left after one night bc no one was wearing a mask even though it was mandated, pools were overcrowded despite saying it would be limited etc. so this year… rooms dirty, had to call over and over to get towels bc they don’t clean rooms…. Bathroom door never closed and was all cracked and split. Hallways were loud and doors slamming at midnight to two am. Garbage in hallways.. Well here is what did it. Ac broke in the room when we got back from beach at 8 pm assuming it was off all day. Between 8 and 12 am the mechanic came five times to the room to replace the units!!! And my husband had to help carry these heavy heavy units w the man bc it was clear he couldn’t do it alone. First one didn’t work. Second one was so loud the room was shaking and loud.. and third didn’t work. My kids were trying to sleep through this. So at 11:45 I asked if he could just find a fan so we could sleep till we leave in the am. None! We ended up waking the kids that finally fell asleep before he came back again and going to next room as room was over 85 degrees. Oh and my son had nasal surgery ten days before and needed ac badly to breathe. Oh they didn’t care about that either. Like it was our fault . The manager said oh we will credit you $100 or so off last nights stay since you enjoyed our resort . Nope.. never did… they don’t care. Been a customer since 2008. Will never set foot back there. Not a resort by any means. It has turned into a dump. I would rather stay at an economy hotel on the cape. Don’t waste your time, money, and patience with this one.

The kids loved it! Me? I felt it was a bit overpriced.

So, We got in earlier then expected (2pm) and we were told that we'd get a text when our room was ready (3pm) So we got our bands and hit up the water park. Pros: The lazy river is well themed, has adequate water spray to keep you damp and very few dead spots where you can get stuck. Cons: The changing rooms were a disaster, with what looked like Feces and / or honey mustard smeared on the walls and celings, I took a couple quick snaps and showed them to the girl working the booth (after a few minutes of her sitting on her phone oblivious to me). She stated that they would get it taken care of (TL:DR The mess was still there 2 days later when we left) We enjoyed jumping around the different water activities, the saltwater pool was a nice change of pace, though disappointing that my 8 year old couldn't use the hot tub. Found the gross water stains in the wave pool disgusting, moreso when we saw the profanity and penis's that were scratched into it. We sprung big for the room with 2 floors, and found the room, nice, but lacking. There weren't a whole lot of accessible plugs available, the wooden spiral staircase was a bit creaky, but solid. The AC didn't ever seem to get the room cold though, no matter how long it ran, but it was putting out cold air. Food at the attached restaurant was great, kids loved it, though we didn't catch the coupons when we had our first lunch and thus have a $10 off coupon that went unused. on the whole, the place was nice, I didn't feel the money we spent on the luxury room was wasted as despite "feeling" like a luxury establishment, it looked like a discount place.

Just gross

Reviewed 26 august, 2022

Old, dirty, overall gross in so many ways. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Ever. The carpets were disgusting..the sofabed had bloody sheets from previous guests on them...the king bed had a queen sheet sheet set on it with an exposed mattress...I cant wait to NEVER go back there again.

Beautiful

Reviewed 22 august, 2022

We got there at low tide , which for traveling couples or family that wanted to swim would suck but .. we found so many ocean treasures. Shark eggs , seashells , beautiful rocks , . Then we watched the sunset and it was definitely worth the 7 hour long drive ... next time we will be staying for a week

Very Run Down but fun family resort

Reviewed 20 august, 2022

Stayed here during August 2022 with family/children. The real and possibly only reason to stay here is for the pools which children under 12 will love, but are pretty tired and need investment/refurbishment. The rooms are well past their sell by date and are very dated. I doubt if any money has been spent on this place for the last 30 years. Our children enjoyed the pools/water slides. Our room was pretty damp. The restaurant is not bad, but would not be a reason to come here on its own, decent bar with good selection of beers. To sum up, the resort is pretty round down and needs improvement the pools are fun but are old and in poor shape, but we still had fun here. It’s not cheap either we paid over $400 for a room!
