Amazing Wedding Venue With Incredible Staff!

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the Coed-Y-Mwstwr for helping us achieve the most amazing wedding we could have asked for. Myself and my husband knew straight away that we wanted to have our wedding at the Coed, Tommy and Megan helped us plan our wedding there and they were fantastic, they went through everything, they had all of the knowledge and expertise you could ask for and ensured that everything was spot on. From planning the wedding to the actual day was a breeze, they kept me in the know with everything, listened to my ideas and shared ideas with me, they made the planning of our wedding totally stress free, I was a disorganised bride-to-be so they stayed on top of things for me and helped guide me through it in every way they could. The venue was perfect, it had undergone a refurbishment and it looked fantastic, the details in every room, the gardens, everything was stunning. Even the smallest details were pristine. The rooms we stayed in were fantastic, the beds were comfortable, all of our guests that stayed enjoyed, all of the facilities were great. We got married on the 02/06/2022, it was a boiling hot sunny day and the venue accommodated to this very well, with air con, an open patio with lovely chairs and gardens to sit in. Everybody at the wedding was comfortable and catered for. Oh and not to forget, the meals were DELICIOUS! Every member of staff at the Coed that day did an amazing job to make our day run smoothly, not once did we experience a hiccup or a problem and I am so thankful for this, they did everything they could do to make this happen the way we wanted it to and I am eternally grateful for everything they did for us. The venue is stunning for ANY wedding. As for the staff, they are spectacular, attentive and kind people who will go out of their way for you and do everything they can to ensure you enjoy your time there. I cannot thank every member of staff that day for making our wedding so special. We are more than grateful for everything you have done for us and we will forever appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to make our wedding day so special. Had afternoon tea yesterday for family birthday Food was excellent, sandwiches, hot savouries & fabulaous cakes, service really good. Plenty of tea throughout. Thoroughly enjoyable afternoon would highly recommend.

An excellent evening spent with friends, with music, dancing, fun roulette and blackjack, plus really excellent food and service. On the downside, the music was too loud during dinner, making conversation quite difficult. The wine list was quite expensive, but the quality of the Merlot and Shiraz that we drank tasted quite 'cheap', which was a shame.

Great hotel, great food and superb staff

Title says it all. We enjoyed our visit so much the first time my wife and dog insisted on accompanying me on a business trip - which was nice. The hotel is clearly very well run. The staff are long serving and very happy in their work which shows in the quality of the establishment and service. We were pleased to hear that the owner takes a big interest in the running of the hotel and their staff. We suspect that the owner took the trouble to enquire about our stay, but didn't divulge their role in the hotel. Quality!

Taking tips but not given to staff

Shocking to find staff don’t get a share of the tips , we left over £60 as a group on first visit , second visit we left £70 mentioned it to the waitresses who told us they never see a penny of any tips absolutely shocking will take the matter further .
