What a lovely place
Entering the hotel was entering a different world. First with a very warm welcome at the reception followed by a charme of room, hotel and garden composition that we have not experienced very often in hotels. Eventhough the pool area is next to the street you are not disturbed by this at all. And the arrangement of the inside garden area gives you the feeling to be in a small paradise. Of course - we had sun all the days of our stay and this helped as well. A small organized beach across the street is for a short trip sufficient - but close beaches in the near sourrounding invite to explore more of the island. Breakfast and food in general is excellent - alternatives for dining are as well available in the closeby historic centre. Really hard for me to write this evaluation as this hotel is for sure an insider tip.
Best hotel I ever stayed at in Brazil
Everything was great. Facilities, service, food, great warm pool and hot tubs. Everything works as it should and it makes you feel you are in the middle of the rain forest. Beautiful place. Rooms are dark and comfortable you will have great quiet sleep. A lot to do in Ilhabela and the hotel will help you with everything. Just go there and enjoy!
Perfect for all ages
The hotel is very charming, has the most gorgeous gardens, pools with views (some heated), beautiful setting, comfortable rooms, excellent service, and ... I ran out of adjectives. This place was perfect for all ages as we travelled with 3 generations. Breakfast is included and so good. The restaurant Portofino is amazing if you decide to eat on site. Truly special. Everyone working there help make your visit special - natural and wonderful hospitality.
Friendly and comfortable hotel
As a family of four with young children we have rarely felt as welcome as at Porto Pacuiba. The staff were very friendly and interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible. From the reception to the restaurant to the pool everyone had a natural ability to make sure we had what we needed and that we enjoyed our stay. The room was a quadruple room, very spacious and had a nice balcony with a hammock. The food was of a high quality, the breakfast more varied that at most Brazilian hotels and the dinner menu very innovative. There was a lot of effort put into making our kids feel welcome, from the slightly warm pool to a fun kids' menu at the restaurant to a Playstation in our room the kids were never short of fun things to do. The location is great, on the Viana beach which is a small strip of sand with a very nice beach restaurant. There is a convenient, frequent bus service between the hotel and the other main places on the north-west side of the island although having a car is a good idea as well. I would higly recommend Porto Pacuiba to anyone visiting Ilhabela.
Great place to relax
Lovely weekend, great service. The people are very kind and always ready to help. The view from the hotel gardens, restaurant (Portofino), pool, is great. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. It is just what you need to spend a fantastic weekend. There is a beach in front of the hotel and if you are up for a more energetic weekend, they have loads of suggestions and tips of what to do and with whom. It is a well worth experience!
