Nice, Convenient Stay!
After a 9 hour day of driving, we checked into this hotel. (Used Hilton Honors points.) Fairly standard Hampton Inn. The front desk staff was friendly and personable. Our room, no surprises. Great night's sleep. Up early, had a couple hard boiled eggs and coffee. Then we hit the road. Nice, convenient place off the freeway.
Kind of run down
Kind of run down and elevator rickety. Only box breakfast, and small juice. Also breakfast area closed. No room service to clean room between nights. The TV remote didn't have plastic covering. I used the plastic from paper cup..
Good covid response
Stayed overnight. Everyone wore masks except for a couple of guests walking thru lobby. The door to the room had a seal. I would say the room appeared clean ( mini fridge not so much). Appears to be a bit of an older hotel but well appointed. Bag Breakfast had a bagel ( less than fresh) , yogurt, eggs. Digital check in & out a big plus as no contact necessary if that appeals to you. Would recommend.
Super clean and affordable
We just stopped for one night on our trip home and I picked this hotel by the other reviews on TripAdvisor. It is super clean and very nice. The gentleman checking us in was very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend!
The Ideal Hampton Inn - just what we needed
an impulse trip to Indy - no room booked so I grabbed the cheapest room that afternoon at Quality Inn/Suites. We drove up to that place and left - prking lot was awful, only 2 cars, practically on the road, and exterior looked run down. I didn't feel safe. So after our event, we drove to thie Hampton Inn, and walked in hoping for a room. Clerk got us the best rate, was nice at 10 pm with guests in line. Place was clean, staff was nice and helpful, including the breakfast servers. Hands down the best free breakfast we have encountered at a Hampton or other chain. What relief & peace of mind to have a clean, quiet, safe place to sleep with your kids. I will not look elsewhere ever again. Stop when i see a nice Hampton Inn!
