So my husband and I own 13 rental properties, not only did the AC and fridge barley put out any air the place was dirty. People, base boards and walls should be clean! I waited 3 days to say anything to the front office just about the AC and fridge…..they only did a “check” and blamed the heat on the sun. We are from Texas sorry that doesn’t work for me. I then went back down for the 3rd time about the AC and they gave us a BS fan. This is just this AC. Two days ago I bought food for sandwiches and because the fridge was t working it all melted. Of course, when they “checked” the AC and fridge the first time it’s was our fault. As owners of 13 rental properties I would have never handled stuff this way. They didn’t care or take responsibility. This was a last minute vacay but I would never stay here again. I bought Lysol and sprayed everything down. We leave soon and I cannot wait.
DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL!

Horrible Customer Service! Rude Front Desk Staff! This hotel does NOT offer a cancellation policy. Non REFUNDABLE Deposit under zero circumstances! We made our reservations 8 months in advance and tried to cancel due to travel restrictions and they would NOT refund our deposit of $373. They kept our money. I completely understand cancellation fees and policies but this is insane. Even the Four Seasons allows you to cancel with a 30 day notice! I am giving them a 5 month notice! Geez! This hotel is a complete scam!
Don't expect much

I booked this hotel for a surprise 30th anniversary trip. However, my husband had the same idea so I had to cancel. I understand non-refundable but ...... I cancelled 5 months in advance for a very high demand 2 nights of Thanksgiving which they will definately be able to fill and even though I explained, they would not consider refunding any portion of the $300. Pick somewhere else.
Nice views and clean, but not a resort. No security/thin walls

Positives- It’s a beautiful, old school hotel. The rooms are clean and decorated nicely. We had an oceanfront room that had gorgeous views. They offer kayaks and I think bikes too (I believe the front desk said they normally charged for them, but because we had a rough night with neighbors, they were free to us.) the front desk was also very nice and welcoming. Negatives- the showers are TINY. There are no restaurants/breakfast on site. We had an issue with the upstairs neighbors who were blasting music, yelling and what sounded like jumping up and down on the floors most of the night. There isn’t any front desk/security there so I went upstairs and nicely asked them if they’d be able to keep it down (I waited until midnight to be courteous, I know we’re all on vacation and was trying not to be a Karen) They were irritated by this and continued everything, if not louder. After about 30mins to an hour of this, I called the cops and informed them. They said they’d be there. I never saw anyone come, but they eventually turned their music down but proceeded with the incredibly loud jumping up and down/yelling for several more hours. My boyfriend and I eventually fell asleep, (it had to have been between 3-4am) and were woken up by them yelling and stomping again. We did tell the front desk later and she apologized, we told them which room they were in, but they had left already and the damage had be done. Obviously this isn’t their fault. But having security there at night would have avoided what was otherwise a nice stay. Sadly, we won’t likely go back in fear of having a similar experience.
Iconic, old school feel

We stayed in a beach front unit, literally steps from the ocean. If you want luxury this might not be for you. If you want a classic, comfortable experience at a reasonable price, There where several resorts and eateries within walking distance. But we also BYOB and enjoyed the beauty and serenity of the ocean and nature. Right on our porch.
