Discomfort life Hotel Not comfort life hotel
First no one at the hotel spoke English , the checking was the most horobil checking in my entire 30 something years of traveling. The clerk insisted that I pay cash while my reservation was using visa card and I would have been changed for 7 nights in case if a no show. When I insseted and I had made the point that I will contact Bookings, the person started blaming the bank system then tried all my credit card stating that I had bank problems , I went and bought a sim card and charged one hour international call to the US , both of my bank informed me that no transaction was in attempt, it this then that I felt that the credit cards swips were fake ( just a feeling). So we had to settle the dispute to resolve matters in the Morning. After heading to the room around 6 pm all was OK although the room on the 2ed floor was small and the bathroom was not what a person would expect . No shower just bathtub that was cracked and hard to have a shower as there were no curtins and impossible to take a bath in such a place. By 10pm we started hearing loud music noise and people were loud there was a club at the hotel ... Bingo here goes the night.. around 2am .. the straw broke the camel's back . I went down complaining but this time , the night clerk was accommodating and moved us to 5th floor . Less noise but bathroom was disappointing again. It was a sleepless night of thinking as the budget was tight in case we had to pay the hotel by cash , we were depending 50% on our credit cards for the trip, next morning we met Mr Ekram from the front desk , he was aware of our problem and he was very welcoming and apologetic about the issue from the evening before and was glad to take our credit card ( thanks Mr Ekram for making us feel welcomed ) . Now breakfast, if you are westerner and expect to have juice and coffee then just look elsewhere please . They had instant coffee , Turkish tea and water for drinks . No juices. If you are a salad lover early morning you might find one or two items . Eggs was there .Two elevators were there but on every floor you have to use one set of stairs so it is not handicapped accessible and best of luck with heavy laugage. The only person that was smilng was the cleaning girl at the 5th floor .There is more but I will stop here and let the pictures i took be the judge.THIS IS NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL , I WILL GIVE TWO AT BEST
The place of the hotel is great very close to tram & metro the service is good but the room is so small. The breakfast so nice and the restaurants very close to hotel.Al-fatih bazar about 15 mint walking and Al-madina restaurant about 10 mint walking.
Clean, good price-quality, great location. Good breakfast, nice staff, near tram and metro just 2_3 minutes, bazaar almost 15 mint walking, very active zone all the day. Advisable for tourism purpose or business
Recommandable place if you are there for tourism or shopping..quiet, nice and clean !!
Located in an accessible area, not far from shops, good restaurants, Grand bazar, the place is recommandable. but the main problem is the communication, the staff has some real problem with english. the breakfast is quiet healthy and the rooms are pretty normal and well designed..
good choice if you want an average but clean room on a good location
not bad, but far from a four star hotel. breakfast was excellent, but staff speak poor english and the room is rather small, without any drawers, for example. anyway the location is good, it's well connected to sultanahmet square and grand bazaar. good choice if you want a clean room on a good location
