Very Pleased
We booked this hotel at the suggestion of our tour guide. We asked for a boutique hotel that was in the Taksim area with a reasonable price and good value. We were very pleased with her recommendation of the Corrine. The room was of average size with a. nice view. The bathroom was a bit small, but it was fine. After the fresh and sumptuous breakfasts at the hotels in Cappadocia, it was a bit of a letdown that our breakfast had a lot of pre-packaged ingredients, but they were still tasty nonetheless. And considering the hotel rate, the breakfast served and the room size, were in line with the higher costs of a big city like Istanbul. The huge bonus was the sprawling rooftop terrace that had sweeping views of the city skyline. We dint have a lot of time to take advantage of the terrace, but it would have been a terrific hangout otherwise. The location was a couple of minutes away from seemingly everything! It was central to transport, Taksim Square and a bunch of smaller neighborhoods nearby. Glad we stayed there.
Great location but average experience
Good location close to Istiklal in a quiet street with a stunning rooftop terrace and a very comfortable bed that sinks you in. However the hotel and rooms are a bit dated, the bathroom shower cubicle wouldnt drain, the hair dryer was filthy and grimy to touch and didnt work, there was no vanity kit/shower cap/curiosity, there are no extra Covid protocols like providing extra masks and cleaning wipes, as other hotels have done, there was someone's towel hanging behind the bathroom door that despite my complaint was still there when I returned. The hotel needs serious cleaning protocols. If you wish to stay here note that the experience is more like staying at a rented apartment and not quite a well equipped hotel.
Beautiful Boutique Hotel
Its one of our best option to stay in Taksim area. Very stylish boutique hotel, the room spacious and clean, staff helpful and friendly. We love the rooftop bar ambiance and the cozy interior design of the cafe on the ground floor as well. Located in the strategic area and its walking distance to istiklal street, alots of shops, cafes and pubs surrounding.
Most wonderful hotel in istanbul
Hotel Corinne is excellent! The rooms are large, stylish clean and warm. Bedirhan at the reception went out of his way to assist with anything and everything! The restaurant/bar is good but a little expensive.
There is a lot of noise
The room was clean neat and the staffs were kind but the breakfast was poor and we didn't have any choice because of lack of bar, you have to eat ehat they like you to eat! And although i firstly asked for a peaceful room we could not sleep all over the night because of the noises from the street
