Dirty trashy and loud fighting heard throughout night. Room was falling apart@. Dirty disgusting. Nothing like pictures. Very very disappointed. Terrible service at reception also. Its not even a 1 star
I suggest this hotel
The location is very central (Taksim area) and near to a metro station (line 2, which connects the hotel to the city centre). Rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious (maybe only the bathroom is too little). Prices are very affordable. Hotel staff is kind. Free wi-fi (and it works properly). The only black mark is that breakfast is quite poor.
its OK nothing more
I stayed for 11 nights there in a deluxe suit, me my wife and my Kid, at first the suits are not in the hotel itself, there is a building few buildings away from the Hotel, Pros: * location is great its just few minutes from Osmanbey Metro station, taxis are expensive and bus drivers are crazy so the best way for transportation is the metro. and there are a lot of restaurants bars and shops around. * the Room is bigger than most of the hotels. * its got a tiny balcony. * the receptions are really honest and helpful can speak english and arabic Cons: * there is no reception in the suits building never seen any. * it got the smallest lift i ever seen we would barely fit in it * the refrigerator is really small for a suit. * its in a narrow st. so forget about parking near the hotel. * there is a bar close by and it can get really noisy at night especially when there is a football match in the middle of the night. * its not cheap 87$ for a night. * room service is not that great. * the continental breakfast is not what you might think, its really humble. * the wifi is terrible.get a sim card and use the GPRS buy it from Turk telecom or Turkcell don't go to cellphone shops to buy your sim card. * TV is bad, small and few english and arabic channels.
Booking.com lists this hotel as lowest priced. Room is of avg size, clean. Small bath. Hard to find TV channels with English programs. Staffs are not proficient in English. In a nutshell it's worth the money
A cozy hotel
First of all please note that there are a few Cumbali hotels in Istanbul. upon arrival we were guided to Cumbali plaza but then they realized that we should be accommodated in Cumbali suite. It is a small and old hotel but well furnished. 3 rooms in each floor. Staff were good and friendly. If you are expecting a luxury hotel I won't recommend it but if you are looking for a silent place to stay it will be a good choice. Rooms were good with AC and free WiFi. Location is good at Osmanbay area just one Metro station to Taksim Sq (3-4 bus stations). Distance from Hotel to Metro and bust stations itself is about 3-4 minutes walk. Hotel is located in a nice and small flagstone one way street. Although I was astonished at arrival by seeing the hotel but next morning I was less worried and when had a chance to walk around I was relaxed.
