The hotel was alright. It's close to the Metro/Subway station and close to many restaurants. The hotel itself was okay and comfortable. The staff were okay. The breakfast food choices are average. I just missed the bathrobes which supposedly included in my reservation.

It was a great hotel ,it was close to the metro and many tourist attractions.the staff were extremely helpful during our trip.i would definitely recommend this hotel and come here again if I were to come Istanbul again.

I would recommend this hotel. Staff were really helpful and made us feel welcome. Whenever we needed help they would step in. Very informative and gave is information on places to go as it was my 1st time in the country. Had no regrets and would go to this hotel again if I go to turkey. The location was perfect as it was close to the metro. 5 stars from me.

Its a good hotel, nice and clean rooms but the double bedroom is kind of small but it has a great view to the Bosfour , good breakfast and position , I thank everyone there for their kindness and hospitality specially Metten

False advertising

I booked one week in July at Grand Sagcanlar Hotel in Istanbul for almost $700 canadian through Amoma.com. Entering Grand Sagcanlar, we noticed the place is very different from the pictures online. For a few seconds we even thought we are in a wrong place.  The carpet and rugs were filthy, toilet and bathroom weren't sanitary and all the rooms we saw stinked from smoking cigarettes (eventhough they were advertising "non smoking building".) I spoke to the manager and requested to get my money back for false advertising. They said the bill is already paid and no refunds would be possible.  Eventhough they refused to refund our money I refused to stay in such a trash.
