Low budget, welcoming staff, perfect view on sea and Party all night :/
We had a good time in Denis Houses. Nothing special, but ideal for tourists with few money to spend on accommodation. Centered between the top sights, the metro and boardwalks the hotel got the perfect location. Sigle but huge drawback: a neighboring hotel plays music every day till 4am, without regards for other guest. We had serious issues falling asleep....
Nice and perfect located
Perfect location with walking distance to the main touristic places, even not far from Galata Bridge. Nice view from the room (at least where I was) and nice breakfast. Fully recommended and good services from/to airport with them.
They threat me as family the stuff are very helpful the room is right for the price the location is good just don try to eat the restaurant they RIP you off no public transportation around you you should walk to sultan Ahmed mosque in order to find other wise the hotel is clean the breakfast is normal
Great location, clean and comfortable room, great breakfast
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were warm and friendly and happily looked after our luggage when we were exploring the city whilst waiting for a night bus. The location is great--close enough to lots of the main sites yet down a quieter street which was very peaceful at night. The room was very clean, nice and warm in the chilly winter and shower was nice and hot. The breakfast was also good!
Wonderful hotel, in a superb location
If ever I go to Istanbul again (and I definitely will, it is a tourist paradise!) I will unhesitatingly stay at this gem of a hotel. It is small and unpretentious, more like a boutique hotel. No lift, but the staff will carry your luggage to your room if you are on the first, second or third floor. Top floor is the fourth floor, the dining room is on that floor, with a fabulous view of the Sea of Marmara. Some rooms have a "sea-view", because they face the Sea of Marmara, some rooms don't. Rooms are small, but they have everything needed. Very clean. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms are a bit cramped, but well equipped. Breakfast did not have much variety, but there was plenty of food, and it was adequate. The front desk staff were wonderful: friendly, helpful and most cheerful. They were willing to spend as time as necessary to help you plan your outings , and their advice was very useful. The location is great, many of most important sights of the city are nearby: Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar, Topkapi Palace, all within walking distance. Overall, a wonderful place to stay. We were here for a total of six nights. Four nights in a second floor room, then two nights on the ground floor. One final thing: they have an associated travel agency, Efendi Travel, which can handle all your bookings, tour guides, internal travel in Turkey, etc...etc.. We used the service, and we were very happy with it.
