Beautiful and peaceful hotel- value for Money
I with one of my friends chose the hotel based on the photos we saw and we wanted not to be in the centre of the city. The hotel's room was as clean and pretty as we saw in the picture. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Since the hotel is out of the buzz, it is so quite and we could sleep very well. We had a car, and there was free parking in front of the hotel.
Not Comfortable
Stayed there with family for a night. The beds were not comfortable, the set up of bath tub was not convenient for kids. It is tucked in one tight corner of room and not easy to access. Bathtub was old and cracked. Some of the furniture were stained. The location is nice and safe. The breakfast offered was the worst one we had during our trip this summer. The staff in restaurant where the breakfast is served were outright rude. We did not feel welcomed there. Overall, not recommended. There are many better options in this area for the same price range.
Good place to stay
I have just returned from Istambul where I stayed in this hotel. It is situated at the Asian part of Istambul near tó the Kadiköy port and basar area. The staff is friendly but you may experience language problems at the bar. The rooms are ok but they are quite small. On weekends the breakfast starts at 8 AM so if your plane is early you go home hungry. There are shopping malls and good authentic Turkish restaurants in walking distance but taxis are cheap as well and they use taximeter so do not be afraid to use them. Streets are safe and the people are really nice. Kadiköy is few kilometers away and it is a nice place to visit if you want some good food and basar feeling. You can board a ship as well there and it is easy to get to the old town across the Bosporus. The taxi costs around 45 lira from the hotel there. So do not hesitate to visit this nice hotel you will not regret it.
good price/performance ratio
This is a small hotel in very quiet part of Istanbul -seems like a school district. Overall hotel is nice, reception was welcoming, everything was clean. My room was pretty small, could not walk around the bed if the cabinet was open. Same with the bathroom - if door was opened, I couldn't walk to the washbasin. Wifi kept dropping, very bad quality. They use a system where they assign username and password to each guest - mine stopped working the third day, same for my colleague. However, until then, my colleague had no problems with wifi in his room. There was a non-working tablet mounted on the wall in my room. Breakfast is not buffet and it was same twice in a row, so third time we went elsewhere for diversity. It wasn't a bad breakfast though, it tasted ok. Price was quite affordable and for this price I can overlook listed shortcomings and would stay here again.
Not what I expected
During my 3 nights stay in Istanbul, i choose this hotel. I had booked a Deluxe room, but not really the size of deluxe room. Jacuzi is too small, you cant even sit in it properly. Tablet in the bedroom doenst work and poor quality WI FI. Not the best quality breakfast. Never at 4.5 star hotel, max i would say is 3 star.
