We would stay here again and again ...
My friend and I had a beautiful time in this extraordinary place. We were heartfeltedly welcomed and taken care of throughout our whole stay. The room that we stayed in is aptly themed and the view directed towards Artemis Temple was astonishing. All areas are very clean and homely. The food in the Restaurant was very delicious. They catered for vegan and gluten free - we loved chips and humus for breakfast! Unfortunately it was to cold to use the Swimming pool. It is easy to get around by walking to the sights and it is very close to the impressive excarvations of Ephesus. The staff was always very helpful with serving any information needed and playing us beautifully traditional music while we ate. We definitely recommend staying in Ayasoluk and enjoying this unique atmosphere.
A boutique hotel in a class of its own
Where do you start in order to describe this amazing place? Hussein greeted us with we arrived and is one of the most hospitable and friendly guys I have met. The hotel is superb with beautiful decorations and well protected by Argos the dog. Our room had a window seat with a great view. The food was outstanding. It’s easy to run out of superlatives for this place. There is loads to do in and around Selcuk and Pammukale is a day trip. We had planned on staying for 2 nights and ended staying there for 4. Zor spas Hussein.
Fantastic stay at Ayasoluk
Oh man, there’s a reason why Ayasoluk is one of the top-rated accommodation in Selcuk. Murselin and his team were phenomenal, nothing short of outstanding, etc. I could keep going with positive superlatives and I would probably run out of adjectives to describe the staff members and the hotel itself. Right from the moment my mom and I got picked up from the airport to the time we got dropped off back to the airport, we weren’t just other customers to them. We were treated like a family. Everyone was so warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. The quality of service was above and beyond. The rooms, the beds, the shower, food, and location were all stellar. We actually wished we stayed an extra night just to hang out with everyone and got to know them more. And FYI, they do offer private tours at a competitive price even though the hotel website doesn’t show it. Had I known that before, I would have booked everything with them. I believe Murselin himself would drive you to the sites and if needed, he could get you a local guide for history and background info, and he would not take you to “local shops” as part of the tours. It’s just gonna be a no nonsense tour. Anyway, I want to thank the staff members for an incredible service: Nurgul (booking/email), Emre and Huseyin (receptionists), Nejdet (server), Ayse (housekeeper), Yuksel, Elif, Emine (chefs), Yusuf and Seyhmus and of course Murselin (manager) and Argos (hotel dog). Murselin was kind enough to upgrade our rooms so my mom and I got 2 separate rooms. The hotel ground is very chic and perfect for instagrammers. You can find a corner and make it insta-worthy. The location is close to the center and several tourists sites, all within a 5-10 mins walking distance. It has a pool and a nice view of sunset. If you can’t book a room here, try out their restaurant for breakfast or lunch/dinner and you won’t regret it. The Turkish breakfast was really delicious and very filling. We’ve tried the meatballs, lamb kebab, and sirloin and to be honest, I think they were the best amongst all the restaurants I’ve tried in Turkey, and that includes Istanbul. All the ingredients that they used were locally produced. The hotel also has a shop of a variety of souvenirs, ceramics, and goods. And again, I can’t say enough good things about the hotel and the staff members. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family and I would book with them again in a heartbeat when I go back to Selcuk.
We recently stayed here for 2 nights for our 19th anniversary and can't say enough good about it. It was lovely from beginning to end. We were warmly welcomed by Hussein and given an upgraded room without even asking. Hussein was very kind and helpful with everything, and his English is outstanding. Our room was very comfortable and the water hot in the shower. The interior design of the whole hotel is exquisite, and makes it feel like a sanctuary of peace in the city. The Turkish breakfast is ample and extremely fresh and delicious. We had dinner both nights in the hotel and it was simply amazing. Our sincere thanks to Elef and Yuksel for their amazing cooking, to Elif and Hussein for their warm, attentive, and professional service, and to Cemal for the delightful conversations. Finally, a word of thanks and affection to Argos, the hotel dog, obviously well-loved. In Turkey, even the dogs are hospitable! Argos walked us all the way (3.3 km) to Ephesus to make sure we got there safely. He is a delightful creature. Give him a good pet for us when you go.
Great place in Selcuk
We ended up at the restaurant unexpectedly, on the way to Ephesus, and fell in love with the place immediately. We booked the night at the hotel for the next day and were not at all disappointed. Great room, excellent service, amazing Turkish breakfast and hospitality. It’s the place that makes you feel at home. It’s close to all major destinations in Selcuk, but somehow very quiet. A special word of thanks for the interior design - absolutely amazing
