Unfinished but beautiful

Reviewed 18 august, 2016

There's no waterfall as it named. Locating about 2 km from main street. You need to drive through the villages. The road isn't good, need extra driving skill to reach the resort. I got the first bungalow "Tulip 1" everything in clean and good condition except the towel. As can u see from the picture submitted, its unfinished resort but beautiful

Could be better

The Location is really great, the way to it not so much. The last part of the street is really bad... When we were there it was raining heavily and i thought we would not make it... There are a lot of bugs but i guess you can expect that in the mountains. You can fish here and they prepare the fish you cought to eat, that was a really nice touch. The Price was really cheap when we stayed there with 8 People and the house was big enough. Breakfast was fine, too.

Hidden Escape

Location: Good for those who hate tourist but still near to tourist attraction 5 minutes from main street, drive in to small village, you will worry at first and feel release once you spot the villa. 15 minutes from from ciater hot spring water. 25 minutes from Lembang. Price: Cheap considering a traditional touch in luxury style that you will get. Variety 1 bedroom up to 6 bedroom villa depending on your need. Facilities All I need to bring my wife and kid away from busy city. Complete amenities, they even got swimming pool with padi/rice and bamboo view. Service: So so, anyway for those who expect service , dont go here, this is the place for people who want to hide from the busy world and enjoy country life. Recommended for family with kid, honeymooners. Make sure to stay more than 1 day. I stayed on 21 Dec for 1 night but regretly couldnt stay longer, they upgraded me to 2 bedroom villa. My wife and kid enjoy our stay, definetly will come back soon. Thank you to all staff, they dont look well experience but the seem to be nice people who try hard to please their guest. My suggestion, put your hotel in Lembang or Ciater so guest can find it in trip advisor and will drive more guest and revenue to your villa.

This place could be better

Really, this place could have been better if they renovated the bungalows. Location is quite far from the main road and the road is bumpy, but beautiful surroundings by paddy rice field. The kids had had lots of fun fishing and hiking around the rice fields which made me review it into average.

Need a lot of improvement, a serene beautiful place indeed...

Went to Ciater last month on a family weekend getaway, we had booked a 2-bedroom villa online and got a promo price. The resort is located 6 km away from Sari Ater. From the Ciater-Subang main road, we still had to drive into the village through local housing complex about 2 km to arrive at the location. The place is somewhat secluded and there were no signs directing to it. I agree with the other fellows whom formerly commented about the road, it was narrow and full of holes. The villa was quite exotic with rustic feel, built from wooden piles and white-painted (still could smell the paint, probably it was newly painted). Beware of cockcroaches and ants, hide your food and snacks as neat as you can! (we placed everything in the fridge). They provided cable-TV channels, but the wi-fi didn't work at all. The swimming-pool wasn't ready to use, and they're still renovating here and there. I don't think the place is appropriate for formal conference occasions, the only spacious room available was the 2-storey restaurant building which can only accomodate around 60-70 people with inconvenient setting for conference. But it is okay for arranging an informal family gathering there. The natural quiet surroundings and also the local villager's rice fields and was a plus point. There was a large fishpond (or dam?) where we could go fishing for 50K rupiahs per kg fishes we got (it was the only activity we can do). We then ordered the restaurant staff to fry the fishies and took them home. Other interesting thing was when we spotted some lizards (cute ones) came out from their burrows and sunbathed in the morning. The staffs were not too friendly (seemed avoiding chit chat with the guests), but helpful enough.
