Our Favorite Place To Stay- ANYWHERE!
My husband and I went to Jekyll this past weekend for the Island Treasure Hunt. Upon arrival, Mr. William Townsend greeted us warmly, checked us in quickly, and even made sure our room had a better view than the one originally assigned. The property is always clean and well managed. At our previous stay, we brought our two small dogs with us and they were even greeted by staff upon check-in and check-out. Also during our last stay, we enjoyed having our umbrella and chairs set up on the beach for us and enjoyed Pina Coladas by the ocean. We didn't even leave the resort at all on our last stay. I can't say enough about Jekyll's "real" island treasure that can be found in staying at this property and the wonderful service of staff like Mr. Townsend.
Beach House Restaurant
Our family stopped for dinner after a day of treasure hunting around the island. The food was delicious, there was something for everyone adults, kids and teens. The service was great, our server Ri was very helpful!! The location and atmosphere are clean laid back beachy. We will definitely be back.
Beach House Restaurant @ Holiday Inn
Just had dinner at the Beach House Restaurant on Jekyll Island. Arlene, the bartender/server was excellent. She was very friendly, attentive and made our dining experience more enjoyable. I would definitely dine here again.
You HAVE to stay here...
The ocean views are THE BEST. If you are lucky enough to have Michelle Acevedo working the front desk she will make you feel like family coming in for a stay. You will not want to leave! We will ALWAYS stay here.
O, did we get lucky! Bonus stop en route to Florida
We are only staying one night, but that whets our appetite for a much longer stay. A beautiful resort in the most important way--walkways with ocean views around the property, benches to sit and enjoy, wooden walks to the beach...whatever one needs, it is there. This resort understands that we are here for the ocean, for the view, which is spectacular. We have hats and coats--chilly temps but not off-putting. What they add are comfortable accomodations, great views from the room, and a welcoming staff...a special shout out for Michelle who made us feel so welcome! Can't wait to be back for that special 41st anniversary in March! Haven't been back here for 35 years and now wonder why.
