Relax in style!
The Ocean Club exceeded our expectations! The comfortable rooms are beautifully decorated and sport gorgeous ocean views. Brittany and Declan greeted us whenever we entered the lobby. They took the time to talk with us and get to know us even though we were there for only one night. The bike rentals were easily processed and the bikes were ready when we walked out the front door. Everything about the Ocean Club is top notch!
December at the Ocean Club
All ocean view suites at this sleek, coastal design ocean front hotel. The rooms are bright, spacious and thoughtfully designed for comfort and versatility. A fabulous restaurant on property called 80 Ocean. Incredible meals (breakfast was memorable) with attentive service. There is a warm and inviting southern hospitality that the staff exhibits. The prefect getaway property!!
Sweet Retreat
I am a healthcare worker in Covid times...obviously in need of a tranquil getaway. This hotel is exactly what I was looking for - beautiful, upscale, nice amenities. I accidentally booked a room not to my exact taste (ocean view needed). Cayla H. Made sure we had everything we wanted to make our stay comfortable!! I thank her kindly. All of the front counter staff have been helpful. Room 208 is very nice...spacious, clean, all of my creature comforts! You cannot see the ocean from the first floor due to shrubbery. I wish Keurigs were in the rooms though (I’m a coffee fanatic).
Great New Boutique Hotel on Jekyll Island, GA
Opened in 2017, the Jekyll Ocean Club is a small, all suite hotel. It is located on the beach which affords beautiful sunrises in the morning. Every room is a comfortable, well appointed suite with a balcony facing the beach. There is a restaurant serving excellent meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel offers free parking and is within walking distance of the "Jekyll Village" offering stores, restaurants and a small grocery. I can offer only positives about my December 2020 stay. Our suite was spotless and tastefully furnished. The entire hotel is well maintained. The lobby offers a restaurant and a large seating area. Located on the ocean side is a heated pool and a Jacuzzi. Perhaps the hotel's best asset is its very friendly, competent staff. I will return for another stay.
Wonderful Stay
Stopped here for two nights on the way home from Florida to celebrate Mrs. M's 65th birthday. With COVID we were a little nervous but the hotel and staff did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable. The weather cooperated so we were able to eat outside. The food and service were great. Jekyll Island is a special place and so is the Jekyll Ocean Club.
