Willard is awesome, always welcoming! Sadly I arrived at shift change so lady ch aged my room to a different room. Couldn't be on top floor bc I have kids. Been here before, wasn't a problem.Room stank like mildew. Asked to be moved from parking lot/hotel sign view to a river side. Moved behind pool roof couldn't see anything. Pool was open but cold. I should have stayed in a nice place in tulsa for the price I paid.

Great service. Attentive staff. We had our event in the hotel. They we able to fully accommodate our party. Rooms were clean. The view of the town and the river was very aesthetically appealing. We had fun in the snow. The location was perfect for all we needed to do.

Since this place was so close to the Aquarium, we decided to stay here. I'm very glad we did. The hotel was spotless, the employees were very open and friendly. It was actually our second try for this hotel. But, the city of Jenks closed the hotel when the river was at flood stage. There is ALWAYS one thing you want to pick apart anywhere you stay. Ours is the pool! Yes it's an indoor pool. It's clean and tidy. BUT, it's not heated. I'm used to heated pools when they are inside, but why nit-pick. But when asked, the front desk should say it is not heated. But even with this, I would rate this Holiday Inn Express a five on the Trip Advisor scale.

My husband chose this hotel because of its location near the Aquarium and the Waterfront Grill. We could see the river from our room 204 and I believe it was an adjoining room. The pool and hot tub were really cool, with the different colored lights. The front desk agents at check in and check out were professional, but I wouldn't say friendly. The breakfast attendant and housekeeper in our hall were very friendly, which I appreciated. The breakfast was alright, had a decent variety of food which worked for my family. The hotel has a business center, but I didn't need to use it. The lobby has a beautiful chandelier which my young daughter loved. The beds in the room were comfortable and room was spacious. I couldn't hear any other guests from our room. It is definitely worth the price and I would stay here again.
The Good, Bad, & the Ugly

This would have been a 5 star review, if I had posted it prior to check-out. Rented a room on July 4th to watch fireworks on the river with my visiting grandgirls. The room was fine. It was clean. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. The afternoon/evening front desk clerk, Chandler, was friendly and hard working. The management provided a lovely complimentary cook out for guests: tons of food and drinks. The fireworks show was right overhead and was amazing. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. But we got almost no sleep because the people in the room above ours (sounded like kids, likely part of a group of teens staying there) jumped, stomped, and thumped for hours, keeping us awake until almost 4 A.M. I called the front desk just after 1 A.M. to complain and the front desk person (not Chandler) said he'd tell them to quiet down. They eventually quieted for the most part, for a while, then started up again very loud. I called for a second time just after 3 A.M. and told the front desk clerk that if we couldn't get some sleep, we were going to have to check out. He was very frustrated, said he'd been up there twice (apparently we weren't the only ones to complain), and that about all he could do was call the police. He said he'd go up there once more to quite them. Upon checking out, I was asked how we slept and I explained what had happened. One very nice woman pulled up my account and appeared ready to do a rate adjustment. A second, less than helpful woman, picked up the phone, made a call, hung up and said, "Unfortunately there were no noise complaints in the log so there's no record of noise problems." So I get penalized because the front desk guy didn't do his job and log the noise problem? I went through the sequence of events again and the unhelpful woman said, "Calling the police would be very uncharacteristic. No need for the police for a noise complaint, we just tell them to be quiet." The implication was that I'm a liar and was trying to scam a rate reduction. So, what I would have thought would turn into a family tradition for the 4th, may end with IHG never seeing a dime from me again. Tip: if you have to complain about anything at this location, don't call the front desk. Go in person with your phone and video the interaction. Otherwise, you'll be thought a liar and a thief.
