Pousada Armonia Jeri

We were staying in Family room, very spacious room in 2 floors, with balcony and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Specially the breakfast is very good, excellent tapiocas and the variety of sweets, served with smile!! The location is great, very close to the beach, maybe during the night can be a bit noisy, because some restaurants are nearby. Very good value for money!

I made a 5-night reservation on hotels.com and paid for it in full. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed me that they didn't receive my reservation and didn't have my payment. On top of that, they could accommodate me only 3 nights and I needed to find another hotel. I ended up paying for the 3 nights out of my pocket and requested a refund from hotels.com and moved to another hotel for the other two nights. What a hassle. However, I only received half of my money back from hotels.com as hotels.com said they followed the hotel's cancellation policy and the hotel charged for one night or whatever and the hotel held the rest of my money. I was frustrated. It was clearly not my mistake. Why did it cost me my money? As it turned out, it was the receptionist's mistake. The hotel did have my reservation but it was under Expedia, kinda like the same company or hotels.com works with Expedia and the booking was under Expedia. But it doesn't matter. The receptionist should have my name. My name should be on their calendar or booking sheet, it doesn't matter how my booking was made. While I understood mistakes happen and it's human error, the manager Franscico wasn't helping or even tried to work it out. He just insisted that I paid out of my pocket and not even tried to explain to hotels.com the situation. I believe the partial payment was received by the hotel, he just didn't know it (according to hotels.com rep, the hotel had my partial payment). Poor customer service. Staff was nice though, so I will give them that. But management was terrible. Admit your mistake and tried to work it out and some kind of compensation would have been nice. Even just free mini-bar or free laundry, but no, I got nothing. All they told me is it's not their fault (well it clearly was) and I needed to talk to the website. Terrible management, hotel room is decent but isn't so great for the price. I think it's a tad expensive. Not recommend and won't be back solely based on my experience with management.

Staff is super nice! Cafe de manha is excellent. Excellent tapiocas or omelettes made to order with a smile! Awesome fruits and juices! Delicious, lots of variety, however coffee not always great. Excellent central location. Very safe. Room with no window but A/C worked very well. Room cleaned daily but staying in Jeri means there's sand everywhere. Non-smoking location but owner smokes so can smell it from hallway: another thing typical for Brazil. Also often fast traffic on alleyway (Beco) going to Praca. I wish the town of Jeri would do something about the speeding dune buggies and motorcycles. Overall I'd recommend it, especially for the great location and hospitable staff.

Rooms are nice and clean, come with a little balcony/patio with hammocks (though in the afternoon it's scolding hot to sit there). The location is good, about 200m from the beach and with plenty of restaurants right nearby. Staff is for the most part friendly and helpful, however note that - as almost everywhere in Brazil - they speak no English or Spanish (only one person understood a little bit). The hotel has a tiny pool, but we didn't use it. Breakfast is great and quite ample. WiFi was slow and spotty, but that's OK for that part of the world. One day we had no water for several hours, but same here, it happens and is not the end of the world - they fixed it relatively fast. Generally, the water is tepid at best, but it's hot in Jeri anyway, so that really doesn't matter much

Siamo stati 3 notti in questa posada e non ce ne volevamo andare piu! Avevamo la camera piu in alto con finestra vista oceano, balconcino con amaca, il top! La posada è molto carina, bello il gusto nell'arredamento e gentilissimo il personale. Colazione buonissima e posizione perfetta. Ci ritornerei
