Affordable prices only a block away from the beach

Reviewed 26 may, 2015

This is a modern and not too expensive hotel very close to the Manaira beach in João Pessoa. The staff is very polite and friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is really good, with local specialties included. Close to the beach area and shopping center, and next to Mangai, one of the most famous restaurants of João Pessoa.

Walk to the beach or Mangai

Reviewed 11 july, 2014

My husband and I stayed here two nights while driving between Recife and Natal for World Cup matches. It was the first hotel we stayed at after B&B's and it was nice to step into air conditioning and a front desk who spoke some English. The room was large, the bed was firm, the pillows were great. The walls were thin and we heard a couple in the room next door quite clearly. Our hotel faced the street and the street noise is not blocked very much. The shower had good water pressure, but was a square with shower doors that closed at the one corner. There is soap and shampoo/conditioner hybrid provided. There's a safe in the room, but we didn't use it out of fear of not understanding how to unlock it with instructions just in Portuguese. We didn't feel a need to use it either. The wifi was much better in the lobby than in the room. The parking garage is secure, but we couldn't really tell it was the parking garage entrance. It's a steep driveway going under the hotel just to the right of the hotel's sliding door entrance. The walkability of this hotel is totally worth the price we paid as Mangai is one block away and I highly recommend you go and the beach is three blocks away. The breakfast in the morning is plentiful - they even have green coconuts. They have an omelette station, plenty of fruits, breads and hot foods too.

Ok for couples - not for families

Reviewed 29 january, 2013

Good: - clean rooms - garage - personnel friendly - good breakfast including hot food - opposite restaurant Mangai Not so good - extremely small rooms - if you travel with children you cannot fit any extra bed - the hotel has no extra beds or mattresses - rooms new but still not finished. Wallpaper coming off wall - 2nd floor is still a construction area - rooms have no decoration (abajour - other) - no swimming pool or leashes area. Recommendable for couples who do not want to spend much - not recommendable for families with children.

Hotel com custo benefício excelente

Hotel bem localizado, limpo, bem conservado, preço bom e cafe da manhã excelente. Sempre ficamos nele. Atendimento excelente. Garagem no sub-solo e na rua. Internet funciona bem. Localizado atrás do Mangai. Próximo dos melhores restaurantes.
