European setting, serious, really nice beds, great staff
My favorite in town. They have a great staff, I reserved accommodation for my baby and they were able to provide a nice one. Breakfast is ok. Beds are great, Wifi is not the best (unfortunately common in Brazil). There isn't much to do within walking distance. Downtown and gastronomic way are a good 20 min walk from there, but if you're driving,
at work it`s good
A hotel for those going to Joinville to work. Not special. The restaurant doesn´t offer a different food. The guest have to wait a lot minutes do chekin. The breakfast is not special. The local is good for at work.
Disappointing
Service was poor, food was poor, rooms look totally different than the pictures on website!!!! We paid for a Superior Room which looks like the simplest room we have seen after 10 days travel and staying in 7 hotels !!!
A hotel were you can't make phone calls. Is that possible?
Hotel Le Canard is a nice hotel. The room is good. It's clean. It provides to guests a nice breakfast. It seems to be a nice hotel however it has a HUGE issue. You can't make (and pay for) your phone calls You have to use your own cellphone to make phone calls because the hotel doesn't have a phone system that allow guests to make phone calls. You can 't make phone calls from your room or from the reception. If you don't have a cellphone you are ....... I would never recommend this hotel to someone that doesn't have a cellphone ready to use.
Left us waiting for 2 hours, even though they had rooms available
We have arrived at 10:15 am, and were offered an early check-in costing 50% of a full night rate, for the only 2hs remaining... We tried to negotiate the price, but it would be 50% or nothing... So we were made to wait two hours in the lobby, after having arrived from a long journey. Other than that, the service was good.
