Quality Inn & Suites South

I had been stranded on the side of the road for hours and was brought to this hotel by a tow truck driver at 3 AM. I had no dinner and was starving and nothing was open at that hour and when I arrived I asked Stephanie, the night desk clerk, if they had any snacks for sale. I told her that I hadn’t had any dinner and she offered to share with me the pizza she had ordered for dinner that she had left over. I grateful accepted! She was so sweet and compassionate for my plight. I also requested a late check out because of my late arrival and by the time I would wake up, the breakfast would have been over. As I would not have a car in the morning and would have to take an Uber to the Walmart to get new tires the next day, I wouldn’t be able to stop and get breakfast either without having to take two Uber rides. I asked Stephanie if there was anyway someone could set aside a muffin or something for me so that I would have something to eat before leaving for the Walmart. The next day when I came down and inquired, the day desk clerk told me that there was something set aside for me. Stephanie had put together an entire breakfast (which the food was very good) for me and she paid attention to every last detail about it. (Not forgetting the butter, etc.). What a fabulous surprise and what a wonderful person she is! The day clerk (bpierc) was also super nice and even though the dining room was already cleaned and closed, she let me go in there to use the microwave to heat my food up and got me something to drink and allowed me to use a table. My room was nice too and I have no complaints about the hotel. I will be a repeat customer at the Choice Hotels.

Went to our room after checking in. Found at least two light bulbs burned out. Went to front desk was told the maintenance man would take care of it. Never did get light bulbs. Also very poor water pressure. Bathroom door did not close the whole way and was extremely squeaky.

Staff very accommodating and took very good care of us. We were in town for a bowling tournament and had requested an early check in which they took care of. The rooms were clean and just as you would expect. Our 2 granddaughters also used the indoor pool.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Great location. Great breakfast choices. Nice pool and hottub. Overall I was very happy with my stay. I was there for 6 weeks for business. I felt very much at home.would recommend it to angone for 1 night or a extended stay.

We stayed here for a soccer weekend. I won’t stay again. The lobby area was dirty. The breakfast was not great, very limited options and one of our mornings things were not refilled so we didn’t even get a chance to eat. Every time we were leaving or coming back there was always someone smoking in their pj’s and slippers by the front door???? Very odd atmosphere, almost like people were living there. I felt like we were in the twilight zone. On our second night the room next to us was full of kids that were running up and down the hallway, after I asked them myself to quiet down they seemed to get louder so I called the front desk and she was no help, she asked for the room number and said she would call but wouldn’t come up, she then preceded to call the wrong room, I know this b/c the room she called was another family traveling with us. Another person in our party had the same issues with noise and was told they same thing. We never used the pool but it was cloudy the whole time we were there.
