Easy check in .average room with 2 Queen beds , TV , fridge , kettle and coffee maker and safe. Lighting rather dim . Bathroom on small side with bath and overhead shower. Toiletries provided. Ate here. Nice menu and good tasty food at reasonable prices.really enjoyed the chowder .

Came to Kamloops with a group of friends for a 4 night stay. The service here is terrible. Indifferent front desk person, as a Diamond member they refused to grant any of the member benefits a few of us had i.e. breakfast, points etc. No housekeeping at all even for a 4 night stay. Upon checkout we were told we had to ask for it daily, something they obviously didn't tell us purposely when we were checking in. The goal of management here is to run as cheap as possible and give as little service as they can while charging more. This is clear as the lobby and other areas of the hotel are not very clean and no housekeeping or cleaning staff were ever seen during our stay. We had 3 rooms booked and considered and should have changed hotels during the time here and certainly would not consider staying here again.

Nice hotel let down by service/staff

We stayed in a King Room and it was a decent size, nicely furnished and clean. We only stayed for one night so didn't get to use the facilities really. The main let down is the staff, not very attentive and not helpful. Seemed in a rush so difficult to understand them. The main issue is on checking out I was told I would be charged for the room as it hadn't been paid for. I know this wasn't right as I had paid our travel agent and had the travel voucher. But they insisted I hadn't and weren't helpful at all. In the end I paid and have since got a refund after my travel agent chased it up with them. However, this was really inconvenient and I actually lost out a little on the exchange rate. So I would say its fine to stay here as the hotel overall is nice but really double check when you check-in all the details with paying etc and don't expect a friendly service.

Decent place in a great spot!

I've stayed here a few times, as the hotel is comfortable and very centrally located in town. It's a decent place, but on this visit, thibgs were starting to feel a little old. Nonetheless, everything was fine, and staff were helpful. Breakfast is by order (not buffet) now, but was good. Biggest issue was that my shower would not warm up on checkout day, so it was tepid at best, but at least not icy cold! Despite that, I'd probablybstay again, mainly for the location.

Probably the Best Hotel in the City

Because our tour booked us in upgraded hotels, this is probably the best one in the city. When our group arrived, we were welcomed at the door by a staff member with hot chocolate chip cookies - This always makes a good impression on me! I am writing from the viewpoint of a mystery shopper because that's what I do. It was too warm when we arrived and the A/C didn't seem to cool anything at all so we had to open a window. The small room was adequately and neatly furnished and clean. The alarm clock was set wrong and wifi was hard to access. The fitness center had a remote control that didn't let you control anything except the channel (not volume or the music) and there was no drinking water in it.
