Ok. Don’t stay in room 1051
Hotel is clean. Rooms ok. We stayed in room 1051 and it smelled bad. Could not get another room. The breakfast is ok the eggs are always runny. For the price it ok. I guess its just ok. Our room had a bat tub.
Good Location in Kanzawaa
The New Grand Hotel Premier is conveniently located in Kanazawa, right next door to its sister hotel The Kanazawa Grand. Nice sized rooms. The breakfast was more than satisfactory. No restaurant or bar. They are both located next door in the Grand.
Close to a Shrine
Nice place very close to city attractions. Clean and modern room. Very good breakfast. We walked to a place in the market hall for dinner, Shopping areas very close. The staff was able to speak english.
Very Small Single Rooms, BUT Tons of Electrical Outlets!
While the room was one of the smaller ones when traveling in Japan, it was very compact. There was a small refrigerator in the room that was really nice. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable. I saw a room for two people, and they are much bigger and roomier. There was a chair, but I had to keep my carry on on it. Very reliable and fast internet. I was able to stream and watch Netflix with no problem. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of Western and Japanese items. I used the laundry service ... prices are fair and the items were in my room the next morning. Great water pressure with another really upscale toilet. LOL The hotel is very near a bus line, and there are several convenience stores nearby. I would stay here again.
Very Small Rooms but Very Good Location
The New Grand Hotel Annex is conveniently located to shopping areas and across from a very charming Shinto shrine. We were here in early November and the room was heated way too hot. However, once we discovered how to open the window, the stay become more pleasant. There's a nice waiting area in the lobby and the breakfast area is well staffed. Nothing really stood out as charming or unique and the hotel sufficed for our two night stay and a decent base to see the sights around Kanazawa.
