Exceptional stay, clean, comfy and close to UKMC!

Clean..check. comfortable…check. Quiet…check. Great buffet…check. Central location to UKMC…check. Easy to register online…check. Price conscious…check. I think this covered everything. Arrived after midnight, but they waited for me…lots of great restaurants nearby (within 50 meters)…overall, excellent stay. If you are headed to UKMC, this is where you should stay!

Okay hotel, horrible pool

We liked the location of the hotel as it was close to several places we drove to and the hotel itself was clean. The swimming pool is no deeper than 3 feet at it's deepest point and when we were there, our kids came out with green hair and green swimsuits. After we told them they closed down the pool to look at it. The breakfast area is nice with the standard breakfast choices. It was a little strange as registrars n is on the second floor. But you do need your room key for the elevator to get above the 2nd floor so that made us feel safe.

It's hard to beat having Five Guys, IHOP, Taco Bell, Bangkok Kitchen, Burger King and Subway right there in case you were hungry. The room was extremely clean and it required keycard access to the third and fourth floors so that makes you feel safer.

Fine small hotel only a few blocks from an interesting neighborhood

I was looking for an affordable place roughly near the Plaza. It turns out that while the Plaza isn’t too far, there is an interesting neighborhood a few blocks directly east which is, I believe m called Westport. It’s an up and coming area with a few interesting restaurants. The hotel itself is just what you’d expect. The local neighborhood is very quiet on weekends, as the immediate area is based on the KU medical center, where there are few workers on weekends. I’d stay here again, do a drive-through of the Plaza, and explore Westport.

Very nice rooms and the staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Social distancing was being practiced by everyone. The pool was closed because of the virus. Several restaurants nearby that provided a nice choice for food.
