We were in town for a football game. My son stayed here for one night while we stayed some place else. We ate in the restaurant (The Stilwell) for dinner. Excellent food and service. Friendly staff. Clean.

As an employee of Loews in Nashville, I stayed 4 nights as KC is my hometown. I must say, minus my family...this was the highlight of ALL of my week back home. The staff, the food, the housekeeping-- everyone was just over the top nice!-- Lloyd and Michelle-- (front desk)- you are awesome..thank you for helping me get into my room! Merry Christmas to you!!! Christrian (front desk) thank you for doing such a great job Christmas Day in checking me out- you crack me up, you are super helpful..and are in a perfect role for your personality-- front and center!! I appreciate it! Robert at the Bar-- the friendly lady that worked the front at Breakfast on Xmas day....again- shout out to this beautiful property and the Loews folks that make it all worth the stay! Happy Holidays!

The Lobby area is gorgeous and expansive. My 2-queen room was beautiful, clean, and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable and had actual duvets instead of the standard thin blankets you typically see. The room also had the coziest robes. The mini fridge stayed nice and cold. The shower was excellent. The food and drinks at the bar and through room service were very good. My daughter forgot her toothbrush and the staff had one (plus toothpaste) sent to our room within 15 minutes complimentary. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. I feel like this hotel staff really goes the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. I will 100% stay here again and again. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this makes my top 5 list.

Picturesque hotel, notable service yet subpar management

Loews Kansas City is equipped and staffed by the very best. Lobby, rooms, restaurant, bar, gym, and pool are immaculate and a sight to see. The staff are always willing to help and go above and beyond to ensure the most optimal visit. As many of the other business travelers I encountered, the gym and pool was the biggest draw to staying at the Loews. Equipped with a full spectrum of equipment always immaculate and clean. Also one of the only hotels I've stayed at that maintains their Pelotons (FYI only with SPD and Toe Cages). While the staff, facilities, and picturesque decor are what distinguishes this hotel and sets it above the rest in Kansas City, its' management falls short of expectations. The gym and pool are strictly open during limited hours. Also to the confusion of the staff, always at 10PM SHARP. To the dismay of fellow guests that may originate from other time zones or are early or late night gym goers, this was a severe disappointment. IT is effectively dysfunctional. Reservations were lost. WiFi/connectivity was limited to 10Mbps. Mobile device to TV casting consistently timed out. Mysterious charges triggered thru use of free WiFi appeared on the bill. eReciepts did not send when requested, also frustrating the numerous front desk staff I spoke to. While the IT issues are understandable, treating guests as children are not. Looking forward too visiting again when, at the very least, the hotel gym hours are updated.

The perfect spot for holiday celebrations

We planned a night out to celebrate the holidays with a good group of girlfriends. After a few years of no or limited celebration we were ready for a really fun night. Loews did not disappoint! Walking into the lobby put us all in the holiday spirit - everything smelled and looked so festive (and a great photo op before we went out). The room was perfect for the initial gathering - very spacious and the views were spectacular. We ordered room service and the food was delightful and arrived pretty quickly. The drinks at the bar downstairs were delicious and the severs were on point. Don’t sleep on brunch the next day. We couldn’t be more pleased and definitely plan to make Loews an annual tradition.
