LOUD, DIRTY and UNCOMFORTABLE.
I concede when you check into a Motel 6 you do not expect a Ritz Carlton, but you also don’t expect a dump. This place was a dump. From loud, uncomfortable rooms to crappy lobby and service, there was hardly any redeeming qualities here to speak of. Take a long look at other properties in the area.
Pay the extra 20$ and go somewhere else
Room 125 Pros: The front desk staff was friendly. Dog friendly . Cons: dog friendly rooms are smoking rooms. Burn holes on shower curtain . No plug in bathtub to take bath. No shampoo or conditioner. Heater is loud . Room is dirty and stained (see pics below). Luckily we checked in when it was dark and didn’t see how gross this place is. Otherwise we wouldn’t have stayed . This place looks nice on the outside but not well kept on the inside. A painting was falling off the wall in the lobby. Front door is dirty and full of scuff marks.
Not good!
Room was substandard and had bed bugs!! pictures on the internet do not fairly represent the actual property air conditioner was ancient and could not keep up with the heat of the day. The entire second floor is smoking and had a unique ghetto feel to it!! smoking room reeked of smoke (I smoke but that doesn't mean I want to sleep in a room that smells like an ashtray!!) Cleanliness is definitely half-hearted there was a used hand towel in between the mattress and the headboard. Maintenance is definitely done by someone who doesn't know what they're doing. The motel is pet friendly and they put all the pets in smoking rooms and it was like sleeping in a dog kennel!! (Barking and whining all through the night) staff was friendly but very unhelpful would definitely not recommend this Motel
Small Room but Clean
Well if you are searching for a great hotel, then don't stop here. However, if you want a clean small room to sleep in while traveling, at a great price, then this is a good place. The price was very reasonable, although there wasn't breakfast or shampoo etc. But hey, it depends what you want. I would stay here again if I just needed a shower, clean towels, friendly service, and a comfortable bed.
You get what you pay for
I would recommend paying the extra $15/nt for the Days Inn across the street. The room was reasonably clean and the staff was friendly. However, the towel rod in the bathroom was missing, as well what I'm assuming was a generic hotel painting at some point from the actual room. When housekeeping came they made the bed but didn't exchange towels or empty the trash, both of which I'm more concerned about than a made bed. There is not an iron in the room, but I believe they have free coffee downstairs. There is no mini fridge, and there is about a two to three foot walkway around a king size bed, so its small but for just one person it was fine.
