Clean, Quiet, Good Location- Note Parking Fee When Comparing Rates
Our stay was great. It's a nice hotel and conveniently located near I-70 and most of what you would want to see and do in KC. I did not notice until after getting my final invoice that they charge $15 for parking. It's on the property description- just didn't think to look because it's not downtown and we just used the surface parking (they also have a garage)- not the normal profile of a hotel that charges for parking (low rise, not in the downtown core). Consider that when comparing.
Great place to stay!
My family and I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The area was perfect as we were in town for a Chiefs game. There were maybe10-15 people staying at the hotel so we rarely, if ever, seen anyone. The hotel took COVID-19 precautions all around the hotel. The room was very clean, as well as the entire hotel. Since there were not many cars, we parked near the front doors, but there is parking below the hotel. There was a charge for parking (15.00 per night), but you can use street parking if necessary. The front desk was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. We mostly dealt with Beatrice and she was exceptional and professional. I am looking forward to returning to this hotel.
Be careful parking!!
Over all, the stay good... but there is one major problem... the parking lot has what seems to be a former light pole stand made of concrete that jets out into the first space. They have a temporary “safety cone”, but it doesn’t cover the high concrete corner. You can’t see the obstacle when you are pulling in. Plus, the spaces are MUCH smaller than normal. I hit the corner of the concrete, blowing my rear driver side tire. This cost $200. The manager was apologetic, and acknowledged that it had been a problem. BEWARE!
Lovely
Nice quiet residential location but you can walk to the mall and all the shops and restaurants. Also convenient for the museums especially the art gallery. New and clean hotel with nice pool for a splash.
No COVID precautions- got our money back and left
We arrived and the lobby was jam full shoulder to shoulder of middle school age sports kids and adults with no mask, a guy was at the front desk practically yelling in the staff's face, no mask no shield, the bar was open with no masks or distancing. When I called ahead to ask about COVID precautions one of the things she said was "Well we are starting to open things up." By startiny to open things up I guess she meant pretend nothing is wrong... we have elderly relatives so we absolutely could not stay. I am grateful they did give our money back, but we couldn't get our time or anxiety or exposure refunded. So if you are sick of all this COVID hysteria and want to get back to normal this is your place. If you want to keep up precautions in order to avoid contributing to our death toll, run away fast!
