Hotel @ Hostel Area

Good hotel near 2 hostels. Walking distence to Kata Beach. Very powerful open buffet breakfast. Vary rooms with different prices. Probablycause of low season, hotel was full of Russian tourists coming by tour agencies. They have rental motorbike and laundry services even a bit more expensive than aroumd.

Beware of hotel management trying to cheat you of security deposit

Horrible people. No ethics at all. We had 6 rooms and we were vacating at 4.30am to leave by 5am to airport. They waited till 5am until our ride arrived and started complaining towels were missing. Had to go to each room collect towels and had to throw them in reception in order to collect back security deposit. For any hotel 30minutes is ample time to close check out procedures. Beware of these cheaters. Place otherwise is ok and walkable from kata food street

Nice hotel.

Nice hotel, close to the beach and night life area. Staff unfriendly but that doesn't really bother me as I want minimal interaction anyway. Roof top pools are a cool addition and the rooms have surfer designed decor. All in all a decent hotel for the price. Only downside is that as soon as you arrive there is signs and prices for damage to items in rooms which makes it seem like you're in some kind of school environment. Probably wouldn't stay again but that was mainly due to how poor Kata was as a destination and not because of the hotel.

Amazing employees, especially Micky. Very kind and helpful. Great music and great spot to have a good time!! 5 minutes from beach and right outside some hostels that are also great, like Fin hostel. They treat you like family!

Nice rooms

I got a room facing away from the main road, so it was quiet and relaxing. Very clean and the staff were welcoming. The beach is near enough, but someone decided long ago that Club Med should block access to the beach for everyone else. That seems to have screwed Kata forever. I found a real Thai cook in a laneway around the corner. I saw so much plastic! Mostly Russian and other Euro tourists. I got out of Kata as soon as possible because there is nothing Thai about this place.
