Totally lazy and ignorant staff. The hotel creates large amounts of garbage and the staff just dump it in the normal waste bins in front of the hotel. The recycling bins are a bit further away but they are too lazy to go the extra distance. The hotel has a air extraction system that makes so much noise it is like an airplane is taking off. If you have a room at the back of the hotel, you will not be able to sleep.

Country club is a medium size hotel in the beautiful mikro chorio village near Karpenisi. The redemption area is cosy and warm with nice couches and a huge fire place turned on till the morning. The rooms space is good enough however they look old and overused. Bathroom too... What really annoyed me the most was the cleaning service. Almost nonexistent! The rest of the services where ok considering that the same people had to be there since the breakfast time until late at night...

Extremely helpful personnel, trying to cover your needs at all times! Wonderful location, amazing sitting area with a huge fireplace! Superior quality breakfast! The rooms was nice and clean with great view! Excellent location, especially for those who want to explore the villages and the countryside!

We took last minute over night at this place, we have been charged 65€ including breakfast while at Booking.com the ofered price was 53€ including breakfast, this price relevant for the I stayed and few days later too. 2) The fan on the bathroom was very noisy, 3) There is no holder in the wall to stick the shower you must hold it all along the bath! (21st century). 4) The blanket wasn't covered by a blanket case as expected for hygienic reasons, 5) No hot water was available in the morning. 6) On top of, We have been charged extra money for the coffee of the "included breakfast".

The outstanding location is just the beginning: A lovely little village surrounded by the forest with great views. Excellant well-furnished rooms as well as comon areas, with great service and superior quality meals. You need a car to maximize your enjoyment be exploring nearby villages, the river and springs, as well as special walking paths with varous levels of difficulty.
