Run down hotel, stay away
The building, the view and swimming pool are stunning, but this is where positives end. Rooms are complete disgrace with old falling apart furniture, mold and noisy AC. Dirty terrace. Mosquito net around the bed broken. Only 2 hangers. Half of the lights not working. OK breakfast, but dinner was disaster. Seafood risotto had mussels that were smelly / not fresh. Buratta apertizer was a ball of semi hard cheese served with strawberries.
Amazing view but rooms are 3 stars for sure
I stayed at this hotel 4 times. The view is breathtaking. The hotel might be 20 years old. So they kept coloring the cabinets instead of actually renovating them. The suites have a old hot tub but the windows have never been cleaned. Its like the last time they actually cleaned the windows was 5 years ago. So you use the hot tub to relax and all you see is the dirt on the window... when we arrived i asked for water. After 4 hours drive. They send me a box of hot water. So the staff wont really help unless you tip them separately. So if you want a good service you gotta pay for it. We had to beg for toilet paper for hours. The ac inside the rooms are so old that they wont let you sleep. The ac makes horrible noises and its not enough for the big rooms. The window nubs are all broke so the little cool air end up going out..... this hotel might be 4 stars 10 years ago but now its less than 3. I hope they actually spend some love to fix the rooms and change the ac.... The restaurant was absolutely amazing. The chef is a rare one... but be aware if you got half board make sure you ask for your food instead of ordering from the menu. Cause in the end you will realize that the menu is a la carte and you gotta pay for it. My favorite thing about staying there was Mr Ömer. He truly helped out and was close every time we needed him. The hotel is a hidden gem that no one really cared after years... There are 40 or so stairs from the room to the beach. I dont suggest you use the guest sevices because in the end they will add 1000% to prices you can get outside. Go to the city there are hundreds of stands for renting boats and diving and daily tours.
One of a kind
I found out about Villa Tamara through common friends. Kaş has always been my favourite place to visit and now Villa Tamara is my go to place. Located in the best part of town Villa Tamara is a great spot for couples and families. Their hospitality and service is incredible. It’s my second time here and I can not wait to be back already. The architecture of the hotel will take your breath away. You won’t regret staying here. Sending love to the entire Villa Tamara crew.
Best hotel in the town. Everything was perfect and clean especially the view and foods are classy. Hotel owner and staff are always friendly also all necessary precautions were taken for the pandemic.
Absolutely amazing views. We woke up early for sunrise and couldn’t have expected anything better. The hotel goes all the way to the sea and no one around it. Staff was extremely nice and good breakfast. Amazing.
