No hot shower, water stinks, very noisy inside and outside, terrible service, unfriendly staff, dirty rooms

We stayed some days but it is sure never more. We cannot take hot shower, only at the day when sun shining enough sometimes warm shower. The water stinks now and then, not healthy at all. Despite of other people say the rooms and bathroom where dirty. The bed sheets with holes where used and not cleaned after used. We found black hair in the beds, from the users before us.. The staff is friendly until you complain about something, at that moment they start to use their second face and neglected your complain and make your stay more terrible. Paying Rs 1500 per day is much to high for this kind off """"hotel"""""". The staff makes a lot of noise, from early morning to late in the evening, not possible to sleep at that moments. Also lot of noise from outside, generators from neighbour and shouting people at street in the middle of the night. Also lot of noise from motorbikes without exhaust system almost every night. And horns from motorbikes and cars, police make noise without any reason in the middle of the night. The fans of different rooms make a lot of noise when somebody in a other room use the bathroom and swish on the light and with that the fan. The electrical system in the rooms work partly, very difficult to charge, and very dangerous to use because the sockets where melted inside. That is why the TV was not working. The Nepali people call the neighbourhood China Town, and not for nothing, noise, noise, noise

On Arrival no record of my booking through Expedia so I was shuttled across to the "Pleasure Hotel" for the first night then shuttled back. Towards the end of my stay, we tracked down the Expedia booking so all was well. The room was well appointed and twin beds comfortable. Hot water was variable and as its solar best time for a shower is late afternoon. A good restaurant on the second floor. All up about USD 10/day - great value. Great staff assistance, Always obliging. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Hot water not always.

Pros: Great location and friendly staff. Large rooms with tv and a desk. Cons: Noise. Construction banging starting at 7:0am and nightclub bar noise starting after that (ex: Chinese singing Karaoke at full blast across the street). I stayed for three days and no one cleaned the room the entire time.

This is a no frills hotel right in the tourist district. Its reception is on the second floor The staff are its greatest asset as everyone from manager to the guy who cooked breakfast were fantastic Nice budget hotel for those who don't need high end luxury

Stayed for 6days and enjoyed my stay.Its located near the market so easy to get amenatites and all good places to visit are well connected. Good hotel, nice staff also very friendly, will visit again soon.
