We stayed there for a number of days. The breakfast is good. The restaurant in the evening is really excellent and good value; thoroughly recommended. The rooms are clean and well serviced, nothing remarkable but very acceptable.

Great hotel, warm, cozy and friendly

We stayed in the Hotel Landgasthof Schwanen for 3 nights while attending a conference in Strasbourg . We stayed in Room 103. Arriving later than expected on the first night we made our way to the restaurant to register as reception was closed and were greeted warmly and soon checked in and a table booked for an evening meal. Our room was lovely - clean, warn and spacious with towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Good wifi, easy to access. The restaurant was great - busy but very atmospheric and service was quick and polite, the waitresses helped us with our choices and were patient with our attempts at German. Lots of choice of both food and wine at reasonable prices and the portions were huge so don't even think of needing any side dishes. A good night's sleep was had in a comfortable bed and a room that was not overbearingly warm as they sometimes are and no noise through the walls from the adjoining rooms which was also nice - stayed in too many places with paper-thin walls. Breakfast was served in another room separate from the restaurant - again a good range of choices - both cold and warm, with a coffee machine to serve yourself and for the English Breakfast tea brigade the waitress was happy to bring a pot to the table. All in all a great place to stay, staff were very welcoming and the hotel was only 30-40 mins by train (the station being a 10 min walk away) to Strasbourg. Cannot recommend highly enough

Great place, great location, wonderful staff. Food - excellent, great location, clean cozy rooms and German internet that actually works great! We never expected it to be this good. Warmly recommended!

Good hotel in a charming village

One night there travelling back from Italy to Belgium. Well situated between the two countries (about 500 km on both days). Quiet neighbourhood. Lovely small village. Decent, confortable room with the necessary equipment (TV, wifi, but no fridge and limited bathroom amenities). Good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. Excellent ratio price / quality (89 € for two persons, one night, difficult to find a better price for that level of quality). Only minus point: no lift in the building where the rooms are situated.

Very good value, excellent quality and very clean. Great staff.. very friendly and helpful. Great location - we have family nearby in Strasbourg (20 minutes away). Would certainly recommend this hotel to all our family and friends. Super breakfast.
