Solid experience but expected more for a resort with 5 star hotel and ultra all inclusive service.
Opinión escrita el 19 de Agosto de 2021
I would rather say solid experience having in mind that is place is listed as a resort with a 5 star hotel. Upon the arrival in the hotel they gave us a economy room and we paid for standard room for two adults and one small child. For hotel which is selling ultra all inclusive service the only thing I can say was good is cleanliness and employees who are very kind. Restaurant and kitchen was average, menu was poor and food was same every day. Air conditioning is terrible and it only worked inside the guest rooms.
In it’s description it says that hotel has a children buffet but there were none.
I was very disappointed with the fact that staff of this hotel mainly speak Russian language and all activities and programs in hotel include only Russian speaking narrators. Having in mind that this is a hotel with international guests I would warmly recommend to use English language as primary too.
Music which comes from the hotel’s pool was way too loud and for family with small children I don’t recommend taking rooms with pool view.
Why you need to stay away from this resort.

Reason to stay away from this resort:
* The central airconditioning works only at about 20% capacity. This is the case for the whole hotel. Apparently the management has been aware of this issue (considering the reviews here), but they just don't do anything about it.
This ruined our stay.
*When you search for hotels in Anatalya, Meder resort pops up. But the hotel is in another city call Kemer, not Anatalya.
*They charge for WIFI, eventhough it said on hotels.com that wifi is included. It's only included in the lobby. This is not good enough for a "5 star" resort.
*Technicians are not interested in fixing any issues, if you have.
*Gym was closed
*The free "turkish hamam" that they advertise, was just sauna and steam. No hamam.
Pros: The daycare Kazakh lady has a great attitude. Nice employee at Meder resort.
It's not a 5 star resort do to these issues
Could be better

This hotel was built to be a 5* hotel, it has all the facilities, but it is not maintained very well over the years and now it doesn't deserve more than a decent 3* hotel. Everything is adjusted to Russians (or the Russian speaking people) who are the main guests here and English language is not the stronger side of the staff here, especially at the dinning room. The entertainment program is also in Russian. At the pool the music can be so loud at certain times, one can not hear their own thoughts or read a book, and after the dinner the loud music stays until 23h. If you want to go to bed earlier you better not have a pool side room. The rooms are spacious but need a renovation, everything is wear and tear even the bed sheets. Only the fourth floor has balconies on the pool side and some on the first floor. The good thing is rooms are cleaned every day, but we only get one set of towels for after the shower, not for hair nor face. The wardrobe is also not convenient, just the hanging part is ok, but the shelves are not deeper than 10cm. We have to keep our clothes on 2 small sofas. Due to Covid-19 the food is served by the staff and you have to cue up with bunch of people and no one is wearing a mask. There is enough choice, but some things are really low quality like cookies or fruit marmelades, not to mention drinks and coffee. At the pool area they are served only in card cups (no glass except in the bars). We had a look at the gym, also not the best devices for working out, if there is someone interested. The lobby area is fine and large, so as the pool. Only 2 elevators for such a big hotel, if you have a room on the very end of the hotel, you really have to walk. At list they are fast. Rugs in the hollways look old and dirty. Now the beach. In general it is nice but very crowded and not big enough. I would recommend to avoid coming in Bajram time, it gets even more crowded mostly with local people. There is only one sun umbrella for 4 sunbeds, so you have to share it with someone and as the Sun goes around you may be exposed to sun and not find sunbeds in shade. Also not a lot of privacy. The coffee place at the beach is fine, but staff is also not that fluent in English and sometimes it takes time to get a drink or snacks. Hotel guests have a discount but you need to claim it. The sea is nice and warm, but it can get blurry because of the sand going up and if wind brings dirt, buy nothing major. We also prefer to walk to the beach, as shuttle bus is sometimes overcrowded and it goes in every 30 minutes. The walk is not long but the area is a bit rural. There are some markets and souvenir shops along the way. It takes cca 10 minutes. There is always a nice breeze so the climate is fine. The hotel has a central air-condition and it worked well during our stay. So, in general, all the negative things didn't really spoiled our travel but we wouldn't really come back here before some serious improvement.
Panoramic, elegant-style hotel surrounded by magical nature with a high level of service!

In short, an UNFORGETTABLE holiday and 60% of this was thanks to the highly qualified staff of the Meder hotel. It is difficult to express satisfaction in a few words :-* The holiday started from the site Booking.com and even before arriving, the Sales & Marketing Manager Mr. Gökhan ÖZBAY and other staff at the reception showed great assistance in helping us (me and my fiancée) planning our trip for the first time in Kemer, such kind hospitality It has been demonstrated for all days of stay (any request has been satisfied in the best way) ... We were really impressed by a high level of service of all hotel staff. The hotel it’s located in the southern area of the city of Kemer, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains of the region, the colosseum shape allows you to enjoy the surrounding landscape and nature, so almost all room’s windows offer a fabulous panoramic view
With a large and elegant hall marbles, and a free Wi-Fi zone right there, there are also huge panoramic windows in the hall, numerous soft sofas and armchairs next to the bar, where you can easily take any common soft and alcoholic drinks (included in the ultra-all-inclusive formula) offered by friendly bartenders, some of them even they could become your friends as it was happened with us with F&B Manager Mr. Huseyin Mutlu very often showed sincere hospitality and kindness, organized things for us that were not part of his duties, like an amazing birthday dinner event!
