Functional at best - overdue for a serious overhaul
The hotel can best be described as functional at best. The hotel itself is very dated and is overdue for a serious overhaul. The hotel is located above a casino / ‘gentlemen’s club’. The absence of an elevator with rooms up to the 4th floor is also not a plus. The staff is friendly but could not overcome the many dislikes about this hotel.

Centrally located hotel where the "cheap rooms" are very small and the beds uncomfortable. Also, depending on where your room is facing, the noise from neighbouring carpark during the night was very disturbing. There is an excellent comprehensive and fresh buffet breakfast and the hotel owners are very friendly and provide good service.
Perfect location
The best thing to start is the location. The hotel is very clean and the room is very confortable. The staff was very profesional and very helpful. Rates are very correct. I recommend highly this place.
You can get better in this pricerange
It's a small, almost family-run, hotel who's only merit is it's location if you are looking for something close to BigBox. The rooms are small and so is the bathroom. The bed was too short (and I'm only 1.86). I was unable to turn the heating up. The staff is friendly and the breakfast looks okay-ish. There is enough to choose from. The hotel has an empty-traveling-sales-manager feel to it. You stay here cause it's the last you can find. As I wrote in the title, you can get better in this price-range.
Nice and central
A centrally placed hotel with an excellent and personally service. We enjoyed the stay; parking place behind the hotel was for us perfect as well. Just leave the hotel and then be in the center of the city( walk for 5-10 minutes and you will be in the Altstadt(the old town).). Wonderful The room was nice and the breakfast perfekt for our purpose the next morning. I will come back if I go Kempten again. Thank you very much.
