First class!
Excellent hotel that also was few willing to accommodate my dog as well, for a small additional charge. Had come up to pick up new side by side I purchased and parceling lot was nice, well lit and felt safe parking my vehicle and trailer. Couple other hotels checked out were shady looking compared to this area. Staff was excellent and really helped me with directions home to avoid awful roads/traffic near Chicago. Highly recommend.
New Found Gem
We actually came into Kenosha looking for a Holiday Inn that we saw advertised on the interstate. We never did find it but thankfully as we were turning around to go back to the interstate we saw Candlewood. We’ve never stayed at your hotel chain before so we registered. We were very happy to have a nice clean room and over and above amenities.
Staff were lovely
Loved the kitchenette in my room - it was solid and the beds were comfortable. My door was off somehow (room 319) and didn’t close properly so you had to pull up and almost slam it a bit to close it. Unfortunately a few times people were smoking right out in front of the entrance to the hotel so to get into the front door you had to walk past all that cigarette smoke. It was disappointing management didn’t enforce “NO SMOKING 25 FEET FROM ENTRANCE.” Management and front office staff are very helpful and friendly with anything you ask. ❤️ They were especially helpful as I was unsure how long I would need to stay. I would stay again.
Aug/Sep 2020 visit (Nice and friendly staff)
The location, cleanliness and staff were wonderful. My kids loved it there. We were there for 5 days as my husband travels for work and we went to visit him. They made us feel at home away from home. This was our first time staying at one of these facilities and I have no complaints.
October Visit
Have stayed at Candlewood suites in the past so I thought we would give this one a try. Needs updating and some attention to cleaning at least in the room we stayed. Staff is friendly and helpful. Eleanor was the star of the stay. Always helpful and concerned for the guest satisfaction. Rooms are good size and laid out well. Internet was good. The elevator was making weird noises and started to move while door was still open. Exercise area is nice and there is a free laundry area which is almost unheard of. Wish there was a pool and breakfast but not a big deal. Biggest concern was the maintenance and cleanliness of our room. Would recommend for extended stay.
