Unable to visit due to lockdown
Unfortunately due to lockdowns we were unable to visit teice which is hugely disappointing, we were refunded promptly with no problem. When all these covid restrictions are lifted we will booking into the Inn on the Square faster than the speed of light. The manner in which we have been dealt with shows us what the standard of service we can expect when we can visit.
Christmas Break
Our first stay. Great welcome. Lovely second floor room. Everyone welcoming, friendly and professional. Dining excellent. Quality and presentation lovely. Staff very attentive and also thorough with Covid cleanliness. We felt very safe. Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night break. We will be back.
Fantastic food and service!
Booked in for food and drinks on Saturday 5th December with family. We were warmley welcomed before being shown to our tables. The waiters were all very friendly and very professional. The food was outstanding! We had steaks and sides and they were all cooked to perfection. Drinks were excellent too, with Wainrights beer flowing well! All in all, a great night of top quality food, drink and service. I would certainly recommend Inn on the Square.
Fantastic
My partner booked a mini break for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday. We had been to the hotel before but only for drinks. We stayed in a lovely room, everywhere was very clean in the room as were all the communal areas. The staff are very friendly and polite. The food was excellent the right amount of choice. One night we had fillet steaks are these were cooked to perfection. The roast beef dinner was also excellent, plenty to fill you up. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back. Thank you to all the staff for all your hard work in these uncertain times.
Great weekend
Just stayed here for the weekend and only grumble is breakfast seemed rushed due to time slots needed for social distancing. Room was great as were the staff who never seemed to stop. It was if they never went home. We will be back.
