Michael was absolutely amazing
My husband and I took a trip to Key West for my 50th. We ate at The Seaside Cafe for lunch when we arrived. I met Michael (owner) “on my way to the restroom” he took me on a tour of the lobby of this most amazing house. We ended up eating 3 of our 4 meals at his restaurant!!!! Do NOT visit the keys without a trip to The Seaside Cafe
Love this place
Took my friend here for her 60th birthday. While we were swimming in their heated ocean front infinity pool, the owner brought my friend a bottle of Cava to celebrate her birthday. The beds are comfy, the sunset/sunrises are spectacular. This hotels outside bar is top notch. And the restaurant is the number 1 restaurant in Key West. Best conch fritters, coconut shrimp we have ever eaten. The pizza is excellent as well. Oh, did I mention, ADULTS ONLY!
great central location,
great service, poor breakfast and a noisy area. If you like to watch a lot of tourists, this is the location for you. It is right on the beach. They are careful about COVID and they bring breakfast to your room. But they give very small breakfast
An Amazing Place to Stay!
We booked the Southernmost Hotel for a last minute trip to Key West. We arrived around noon and were surprised to be able to check in early. The parking was great and is only a few steps from the main door. The area around the hotel is very busy, but the hotel, pool and waterfront provide a peaceful escape. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a room with 2 queen beds. The view from the window in the room was second to none! We spent most of our day at the pool and relaxing by the ocean. We also enjoyed the beautiful Key West sunset and sunrise without even having to leave the hotel. The restaurant next door is the #1 rated restaurant in Key West and has amazing food and service. We were able to make a reservation (since we were staying at the hotel) and got a table right by the water. We loved everything about the hotel and can’t wait to return on our next trip to Key West!
Hostile Bellhop
My girlfriend and I planned a nice trip and we were excited to stay at this hotel. I do a lot of traveling and this is the most unprofessional encounter I have ever had at a place of hospitality. We checked into our room and started our vacation, 4 hours later the hotel manager knocked on our door to tell us they double booked our room and we have 15 minutes (maximum) to switch rooms.. obviously my girlfriend and I were upset due to the inconvenience (and rushing) but we began packing. As we were packing one of the bellhops (General Manager's husband) sat down directly in front of our room to watch us pack (crossed his arms and waited sarcastically)- I asked him to leave while we packed and assured him we are going as fast as possible. The bellhop said we were being disrespectful and kicked us out with nowhere to go. He screamed at his wife (the GM) in the other room very hostile to kick us out, we were scared for his wife. She kicked us out and they told us to take it up with Booking.com. We were able to find another room on the other side of the island.
