My go to accommodation place when it comes to Traveling to Kimberley. It's my home away from home and all the staff members and owner makes you feel at home. Great service and a few restaurants on premises to choose from for dinner when staying there.

It's disappointing too drive a long road and arrive and find the hotel entrance is over a 100 meters round the corner with no information. It's a beautiful place on first sight. Rooms are beautiful and big. Just 'a pity there are no work station to work on. If you have to work on a computer it's not easy sitting on the bed. Was disappointed to see a 4 star hotel with no flat sheet on the bed. Was also very disappointed the next morning to see the state of the wall in front of my room. Paint / plaster coming off. The garden also can do with some cleaning up. Also a very bad smell coming from the shower drain. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bed in the room was very comfortable. The extraction fan in the bathroom makes a lot of noise when putting it on and off. Cleaning staff need some training. Lots of dust in the room. With seating outside your bathroom window you have lot's of noise as well. Not great rooms by reception. Management need to catch a wake up

No TV,no Wifi,no Hot Water,no....

Totally disappointing! Its not a four star Hotel. The room rate with 1800R is much too high as there was no Wifi available, no TV signal, no hot water, no hairdryer, very weak Airco,no Fan as discribed in booking.com, no cosmetic wipes and the pool was dirty as there was no maintenance available as the reception told us. Forget it to stay here.

Eat out to Help out Disappointing

We arranged to have a friends meet up. Table pre booked 7.30pm we arrived ( 2 guests of 3 approx 7.20pm. Totally ignored by few staff servicing other places. To even acknowledge our presence would help. I had been the previous evening to Horse & Jockey same group. So I as aware of how they were handling Covid to make it safe and comfortable to it’s customer. Manager finally arrived checked our booking to be told we are just cleaning the table. That’s acceptable. We were shown to tables. Nothing was explained as per my visit to Horse & Jockey no instruction sheet ( blue and yellow ) just menus on table So two of us sat and sat and sat no appearance of our 3rd friend . Eventually he was shown round. He had waited 10 mins before spoken to. We were ignored ref any drinks order or food order for well over 30 mins. Now from my own personal feelings . The whole idea of government incentive was to get people back out eating in restaurants to see it can still be a good safe environment. I thought it was all wear a face covering till at your table then you can remove . But not one other client was wearing entering leaving or going to toilet. Worse no staff wearing any PPE It’s about protecting your customer. It’s about making us feel comfortable to return . No I didn’t .. Our meal was ok typical Chain restaurant food. On leaving we visited toilets to find BOTH ladies and gents toilets out of order only the 1 disabled to cover everyone. Will I return No ..you did nothing but fit screens around our table and one way system to make me feel comfortable. For a chain so large you have ample opportunity to get this right. You have failed to protect your customer enough.

Beautiful design in the centre of Kimberly. Beautiful rooms and bathrooms. Lovely restaurant with great breakfast and safe parking. The only complaint I have is that I showered with cold water as there was no hot water.
